If Old Timer brings a couple decades worth of industry experience, has won P-Club sometime in past few years, and interviews well, he's got a shot. He could be a good counter-balance to bubble-headed newbies in his district who know how to work the skirt.
 




Be VERY careful of any GSK contract. More than likely, you will have a year or less. The AZ diabetes gig is much safer! Advair will be done in a year, possibly less. Tanzeum risky too.

If you're in the "final 3" sent to a site to interview and you're not black but one candidate IS black, then for get it; the fix is in. The black candidate (even very poorly qualified ones) is what inVentiv wants. And also what big Pharma wants.
Big Pharma has behaved unethically for many years and society knows it. So when an African American rep becomes the face of big pharma it is the face of the down trodden in society (when actually it's been big pharma that has done the down trodding). Think about it.
