New Gastro contract...info?

just curious what the gastro contract is for if anyone has interviewed...how large are the territories? Salary? Conteaxt size? Thanks
Probably the most useless contact Publicis has..it's Synergy Pharnaceuticals. Their whole existence as a company is to sell company to big Pharma. Once that happens, no more contract rep jobs and another 2 week severance. Kind of odd the managers are Synergy direct hires and reps are all contract for such an expected "blockbuster" drug.

Its a great opportunity. Wall Street Investors are pressing for a buyout, thats why they have flunkies on here trying to discourage great reps from coming over. They want to increase pressure with rumors and BS to scare other investors away, so that they can get paid BIG when and if a buyout happens. However, I believe the company will hold out unless they get a HUGE payday (5 Billion plus). Don't be afraid to accept a position.

All that said, expect...120k plus 31.5k bonus, 3 weeks vacation, 401k, company car and a severance package that is much better than 2 weeks.

Are there stock options with Synergy and a employee stock purchase plan?

Here's something to think about.

Publicis will have only 200 reps to launch Plecanatide.

Takeda has 1500 reps to sell Amitiza.

Allergan has 1500 reps to sell Linzess.

Basic logic people. Either we are being acquired by big pharma prior to drug launch, or we are being set up for one of the worst drug launches in pharma.

Must be very experienced in GI field. Average base pay is 120k, many former Salix reps coming over. Drug is plecanatide, is superior to Linzess, and expect large bonus checks!

Have not seen much clinical. WHAT make sit better than Amitiza and Linzess? Please share where you are getting your information.
Seems like a me too to what is already available.

I can out sell 5 Allergan Reps and 7 Takeda Reps. And the other new hires I know, can too

Me too drugs have made a lot of money: Crestor, Lexapro, Cymbalta, Benicar, etc...

This person is well informed. All the above is accurate. Don't listen to the haters. There is some risk bc it is a contract...... But there is a nice severance in place. The ceiling with synergy is very high. It's a good opportunity.

Yes there is a severance in place, but no one wants to sign on and get a severance after 2 months with the company....my worry is that the salesforce launches, and a month later Synergy is acquired and Publicis says adios.

Of course, no one wants that. Like I said, the "ceiling" is very high. Best case scenario with synergy is very good. That's why it's an opportunity, not a guarantee. There is of course risk.
