Just call in sick and say you are waiting for your test results. Once the test results come back the meeting will be over.

Here is what we are dealing with
1) tell your manager you are experiencing symptoms and risk angering them leading to future microaggressions ( you know this is true)
2) go to the meeting where people test in hotel room on the honor system because no standard procedure is followed
3) be in a meeting with people who are experiencing symptoms 3 days prior to a positive test but don't give a damn about anyone else so they don't mention feeling sick

This is the caliber of employees we have
They do not give a damn about the health and wellness of those around them

best excuse ? your child tested positive
