Nothing gets past you Sherlocke...that was posted on here a month ago. By the way, they now make soda in cans now, not just bottles!
"You're looking for three things, generally, in a person," says Buffett. "Intelligence, energy, and integrity. And if they don't have the last one, don't even bother with the first two. I tell them, 'Everyone here has the intelligence and energy -- you wouldn't be here otherwise. But the integrity is up to you. You weren't born with it, you can't learn it in school."
OMG, I was just on the Saint Jude cafe pharma boards and was checking the thread :

Hello, I found this page looking for some feedback from patients who have used Stimulator's. I recently had my trial and Medtronic programed it. They had a lot of difficulty and the last day of the trial I met them at the docs office and a more experienced person reprogrammed it. The problem is the stim had to be turned up so high before it reached the area it needed to. My pain is in the SI joint and I have had previous back surgeries with hardware. The stim was so high I could barely walk so they turned it down and when they did pain relief left to . The doc called in Boston Scientific and they reprogrammed it. BS says the battery is smaller than MT and easier to recharge. I am not scheduled for surgery until mid January and really need some honest feedback.
If you guys had to have one of these implanted, which would you choose? Is there really one coming out that is MRI compatible?
I am so tired of living on pain pills and since the rhizotomy , the one in the office failed, they said due to the hardware near the SI joint-- there does not seem a lot left. It seems the SI joint is difficultlt area to work with. I have seen the results of surgery to that area and it is scary. I have had fusions on L 3, 4, 5, 6. at different times and appears I may have some scar tissue.
so, here I am , enlighten me.....![]()

please, get a life!
BSC has the best sales leadership in the business. Not saying much given the bar is already incredibly low with sales leadership at Jude and MDT
Re: Neuromodulation I am a real patient
has anyone seen the Post on the LinkedIn on Pulse: Code of Conduct. Visit and share, or better yet make comments.
You must not have seen the documentation that is going around the internet in reference to the BSC manufacturing defective products such as IPG.
I would be going with MDT if I had the option. They follow the regulations and comply with the law.

If Medtronic has a MRI compatible system by 2012, I'll eat my shorts. They might start a _clinical_ by 2012, but available for sale? Not likely.
Boston Scientific really screwed up management of Advanced Bionics -- no question there. When ABI was purchased, they were basically the technology leader. But then they killed every new project and now Neuromodulation is stagnant.
St Jude's new sytem will probably just fix the crap on the old one. Do you think it will have new features?
