Neurology Expansion

Recruiter said range is 135-145 for base. 50% match on 401k. Car allowance is big unknown nothing shared.

Nothing shared on car allowance because we get jazzed up on the higher starting salaries. Well, after I had to buy (finance) my work vehicle last year with an added out of pocket $3,500 over 9 months for maintenance, insurance, misc. repairs and upkeep, my W-2 for 2021 wont be that much different than my previous year before coming here. Do not get too excited about the higher salary unless its significantly more than what you're walking away from. Its still the same old sample pushing catering job you once had.

The car allowance situation is clearly unpopular with the reps. Is there ANY talk of adding fleet vehicles or at least paying for gas as opposed to mileage?

“jazzed up salaries?” I must be missing something with that. 135-145 not exactly jazzed up for most of us already in neuro specialty. Also 401k match sucks. Seems like overall salary and bennies leaves a lot to be desired.

"Neuro Specialty"???
Oh my god, please come off of your high horse. You are no different than the common sample dropping, catering Pharma person. Be thankful for what you have or go try finding another cake job paying you this kind of money! Damn, what's with all this entitlement around here.

the post was in response to your “jazzed up” salary comment. The point was don’t try to mislead. Salaries are not “jazzed up” here. You sound like a 1st class condescending little pr!ck with your accept mediocracy or leave comments!

Check back to this thread in about a year when Neurocrine gets very little in return for their investment with neurologists. Good luck moving the business enough in neuro to cover this field force. Ingrezza will have to be dosed at 80mg minimum for HD and with the poly pharmacy limitations put on Ingrezza, Austedo will continue to get the majority of the HD RX's. Have fun, it'll be all fun and rosey for awhile, then reality will set in.

Also, don't forget Austedo has orphan drug status until March 2023 from HD with Chorea. So, only way ingezza will be covered or written for HD is if they try austedo first. Also, look at the study. Ingrezza 80mg is equal to Austedos 36mg. Austedo goes up to 48 with better efficacy. So more options with austedo for mid to late stage HD patient add in safety and tolerability...all ingrezza has is single dose. Which is why their bread and butter is long term care facilities. That's it.
