Neuro territories

Don't even begin to believe you will not be overlapping with some ragtag group of tablet pushers hitting PC and other targets in multiple sections of these neuro territories. And these reps will also cross in the specialty offices as many of these CNS targets are in their universe and effect their sales performance as well. Some may be good to work with... but then again, we all know how this often goes --- no where good!

With that salary, you will not be considered unless you take a pay cut.

Agreed. Minimum of a 10-15k base pay cut. Depending on experience, these positions will get filled between 75-95k most likely.. Exceptions will always be made for the perfect candidate but I seriously doubt Otsuka will match your current rate.

Thanks for your serious answer. I was concerned about that. Do you think they'd give me 100 or 102? I won quite a few awards with my previous company and had been there for a long time so I knew it would be difficult to come close. What would one consider the max?

why are you asking this question on cafepharma?? Do you really think the reps will be able to give you a defnite answer on your salary? Wait until you get an offer before you start counting your money.

I don't understand the other posts about taking a pay cut. There are many reps that are making in the 120's and 130's if they were considered a strong candidate. This company will pay!!! If you settle for less than that is what you will get. You can take that to the BANK!!

They may pay more than 105, but they will not start a rep at 120.

I was told by a manager that just got hired with Otsuka the recruiters are being told to weed out resumes that do not have... 1) Injectable experience 2) Neuro-science background and 3) Formulary experience in getting drugs on in the hospital setting. And as previous posters said there are far more available candidates than positions out there.

I was told they are only hiring seasoned, neuro experienced reps with great history. Does anyone know the name of the new hiring manager from Cleveland, that came from Pfizer?
