Neuro. safe??

So is CSO in place to get rid of us??? Or is CSO in place to help Saphris??

Don't think CSO is there to help anyone. For all field forces, they are there because of imminent layoffs. What's in place today is unsustainable....they need to make cuts due to dropping revenues (i.e., patent expirations, dried up pipeline). Think Plan B if you havn't already.

I agree, the CSO's are here to take on more products as we get laid off. They are being trained this week on Asmanex as Clarinex goes away. If you don't see it, you need to get your head out of the sand.

My experience with CSO's are that they are in place as extra bodies to help. I find it hard to believe that would let us go and keep a CSO in place. I would be more worried for the CSO's. right??

You should be more worried about yourself. Right now it is all about austerity and a warm body contractor costs much less than a warm body on payroll.

there once was a time when CSO reps were "helper" reps...now, more and more, they are the sole reps promoting drugs. More and More pharma is realizing the cost of training, maintaining. etc. a sales force is a losing proposition. The ROI is pitiful.

Spahris reps, better keep looking over your shoulder...the CSO's are coming and will soon have your job.
