SUMMARIZED RULES:


1) Pickers who elect to remain anonymous are welcome, but must adopt an unregistered sport's board name (ie. BroncoBoy) to get due recognition for your picks. Please identify yourself with each post.

2) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by USA Today (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

3) YOU CANNOT EDIT YOUR PICKS & POSTS BEFORE GAME TIME!! You may pick a Thursday Night Game and make the rest of your picks before 11:00 AM SATURDAY EASTERN TIME!!

4) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged. If a picker wants to add an unlisted game contact the interim coordinator BroncoBoy.

5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers (BRONCOBOY!). A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends. We don't want to evolve into vitriol and mean spiritness that got the poli board shut down. Be nice to one another.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the majority. There are no kings or queens on this board who have the final say. We are a democracy - and the majority rules. If the majority is only 2 people - so be it.

7) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

I definitely agree with you about the Washington Vs. Stanford Game. It is going to be the best game of the weekend. Ohio State Vs. Northwestern and TCU Vs. Oklahoma look promising as well.

So what did you think about Kiffin getting fired at USC? I told you it was going to happen. He is not good enough of a Coach for USC. People think Peterson of Boise State or Kevin Sumlin of Texas A&M might also be candidates.

You had a good pick on Alabama last week. I bought into all of the Ole Miss hype. The Ole Miss QB should not have said, "We are going to put a lot of points up against BAMA." Not smart to talk smack before that kind of game.

Austin definitely is a better College Town/City. "Keep Austin Weird," is definitely a true statement.

I think the Longhorn Network is something that would not attract Saban to Texas. As you know Saban really hates the media. He acts like press conferences are a major inconvenience and waste of his time. There is a big commitment of time from the the Texas Head Coach to The Longhorn Network. I also wonder if the major wealthy donors would let him have total control of the program. The major boosters are very involved in the operation of the Texas Football Program.

I know I am saying this with Crimson Colored Glasses on. If he goes to Texas he would have to be given absolute control.

It is interesting about this Haha Clinton-Dix story at BAMA. The violation happened back in June and is just being reported now? Now the media is reporting that BAMA self reported and he is only going to miss 1-3 games. The games that are the easiest on BAMA's schedule. BAMA has a cake walk in the month of October. The timing of this story is questionable..
