NCAA WEEK 1 PICK EM!!!! 2013 SEASON!!



















I am completely FLOORED there was only ONE pick for Clemson. Now, I know I am not in this gig this year and was on the fence, but really, I would have picked Clemson if for no other reason than I can't stand UGA pompous players.

Yeah only Breaking News picked Clemson. So far after the first week I think Clemson is the best team in the country. If they just don't drop a game to a team like North Carolina State they will be playing for the National Championship.

My Crimson Tide played good but not great. The special teams and defense looked good but the offensive line was not very good at all. Hopefully BAMA will get it together before Texas A&M on Sept. 14.

Only 2 people picked PITT tonight. Tinkr and Bronco Fraud. I really enjoyed watching Washington stomp a mud hole in Boise State.

Vag, Thank you for attempting to play this week and I am sincerely sorry but I could not include your picks. As my earlier messages stated please only list your picks in the original thread and bold and underline the picks. Just look at the format the other players use. I really am not trying to be a jerk about this but I have to enforce the rules. Some of our players are very ultra competitive and I have made exceptions in the past which have created all sorts of drama.

I encourage you to play next week. This week you were: 6-5 so you did a very good job picking! Over 50%!!! I hope you will understand. It is still way early in the season and missing one week in the long run is no big deal at all. I hope to see you again soon and hope you have a great week!

BTW, who is your favorite College Football Team? You should have picked BAMA. I told everyone they would cover the spread.

I almost picked Clemson because of you -- but then I remembered that Georgia was really good last year. I should have picked Clemson-- they have a great team this year and will be in my picks coming up.

You were right though-- Bama did beat the spread and they are looking good again this year. So is Texas AM. That is going to be a good game!

Excuse me BB, I also picked Clemson (denoted by the +1). Had I picked Georgia, I'd have put -1. I'll underline for next week as requested.
 






I am totally impressed by FSU's freshman quarterback. Why isn't he a Gator? Nearly perfect all night.

Seems like a good kid, too. Liked when he gave he veterans and his receivers the credit.

He's accurate and very scary. You Nole fans ought to be excited. FSU/Clemson game will be fantastic.

Jameis was heavily recruited by both BAMA and Auburn since he is from the Birmingham area. He chose FSU over many other schools because they are letting him play baseball and I think because of timing. Jameis probably would be the back up QB at Florida behind Driskel. He probably saw an opportunity to be the starting at QB instead of playing back up for another year at Florida or BAMA.

There is some footage out there of Jameis in high school (Hueytown High) not only playing QB but wide receiver and he kicked a field goal (it was good) all in the same game. You are right he is very humble and was raised by a very strict military Dad. Johnny Manziel could learn from Jameis about humility and class.
