1. Cinncinnati vs. Louieville -3.5 [Another one of the 7-0 records that is deceiving. Louieville has only won by small margins. Cinn beat Pitt by 24; Louieville beat them only by 10. Cinn has won this matchup since 2008. Nothing changes here. Cinn for the win.]

2. Tennessee vs. So. Carolina -13.5 [Carolina comes back strong after Florida popped a can of whoop ass on 'em]

3. BYU vs. Georgia Tech -2.5 [BYU actually played a good game against ND. I was impressed. Tech has no quality wins. BYU dominates here, even while playing in GA.]

4. UCLA vs. Arizona State -6.5 [The Sun Devils are hungry after that loss to Oregon. Az State is good enough to beat UCLA which has played shitty lately.]

5. USC vs. Arizona +6.5 [Oregon beat Az 49-0. If the Trojans can't beat 'em by at least a TD it's time to hang those jock straps up for the season.]

6. TCU vs. Oklahoma State -7 [I thought TCU played a good game last week even tho they lost by 3. Boykin is a good QB. This is one of those counterintuitive games. I should pick Okla St - but will go with TCU.]

7. Syracuse vs. So. Florida -2.5 [Why is So. Florida the favorite here? Syracuse is clearly the stonger team.]

8. Texas Tech vs. Kansas State -7 [My heart hopes Texas Tech wins. But my head says "No fing way". Spread is too thin. Plus, KS has no player injuries.

9. Florida vs. Georgia +7 [Just like the KS game. I want Georgia to win. But they won't. Plus, the spread is ridiculously thin.]

10. Michigan State vs Wisconsin -6 [Wisconsin is the better team by at least a TD.]

11. Notre Dame vs. Oklahoma -11 [Check this out. ND is #5. Oklahoma is #7. Yet Oklahoma is favored by 11. Proof positive how screwed up the polls are. I think the Sooners walk away with this one at home. ND has lucked out thus far. That luck ends on Saturday.]

12. Michigan vs. Nebraska -2.5 [Nebraska really sucks this year. No quality wins. Michigan embarrasses them at home]

13. Mississippi State vs. Alabama -24 [Miss St. sucks. Not one quality win in the 7 games. I just don't think they suck bad enough to lose by 25.]

14. Oregon State vs. Washington +4.5 [Very weird odds. I guess it's because the OS QB is out with injuries. But the backup can carry the load.]

Louisville gave up 3.5 pts (eg. -3.5 pts.) and only won by a field goal (3 pts.) You came up short by half a point on the spread if you picked Louisville.

It's called math.

Ughhhh---WTF happened to my 2 teams today???!! Fuck!! First ASU loses by one field goal in the last 2 seconds, then USC loses by 1 field goal. Shit, what the hell have they been doing all week, they both lost to teams that weren't even that good.

To be perfectly honest with ya Boise State really sucks this year. In 2011 Boise was very strong and definitely earned a BCS bowl bid but got royally screwed by the rigged system. But Boise is not the same team in 2012. Honestly, I don't even think Boise deserves a #20 ranking. Good defense but a very weak offense. Coach Peterson has to rebuild his team. But he's doing a good job in 2012 with the mediocre talent. Afterall, Boise is 6-1 and only lost to Michigan State by 4 points. And looking at the polls Michigan State is not even ranked in the top 40. So you won't see me making claims that are far fetched, Tinker. I'm not wired that way. :)

Can't say that about my teams today-- they got their assess wiped by lesser teams. Although, I have to admit, USC was overrated this year.

Ah come on, Tink. Boise played Wyoming, a real bottomfeeder. Although I think it's a stupid marriage that should have never happened....when Boise joins the Big East there will be a slight upgrade in competition w/Louisville, Cinncinnati, Rutgers, etc... Last year Boise could have gone toe to toe with any team in the country. But they lost all their big dawgs. Good defense but a pathetic offense. Boise really belongs in the PAC 12. Good God. Boise should have received an invite in front of Colorado or Utah.

USC is either hot or cold. The Ducks should roll over them next week.

My hat comes off to Brian Kelly and Notre Dame. Now there's the first solid coach that ND has hired in well over a decade. He took over Fat Charlie's disaster and turned an ugly frog into a prince. He must be on cloud nine tonight. I'm happy for him. I hope he keeps on winning. But it would be a big mistake to walk onto the field next week overconfident against Pitt. Pitt has been known to be a spoiler. And then if ND catches USC on a bad day it could get real ugly too. There a lot of season left.

Notre Dame should actually hop Alabama and would if the polls weren't fixed.

The teams that Notre Dame has played thus far are of much higher quality than anything Alabama has played. I think Notre Dame should be #1.

Oregon will show what it's made of in their last 4 regular season games. Their action on the field will prove that they are the best in the nation and silence all the irrelevant peanut gallery clowns.
 






Oh, I noticed that Oregon remains #2 in the AP, Coaches, and Harris polls.

That should indicate to you how F'ed up the BCS is.

If that doesn't cause a light to come on upstairs go get a neurological workup.
