NCAA FOOTBALL WEEK 15! Championship Week!

I have to tell you Night Train, this is a different Spartans Team, then any I have ever seen. I texted a friend when you guys put up 24 straight, "Capital One Bowl, here we come," because every other MSU team I have ever seen, folded their tent when something like this would happen. That said, Connor Cook had the game of his life. I have always found Dantonio to be a good coach (from the Saban/Tressel tree), but he did his best job this year, because this team was the result of mid-30's recruiting classes. Darquez Denard is going to play in the NFL also. They have surprised all year, so even if Stanford kicks their ass, it's been a great season. That said, the Buckeyes are still the Standard for the Big Ten (12).

Would love to see Dennard as a book end corner across from Joe Haden on the Browns. With that said, he's not the only one off that team that will be playing on Sunday afternoons.

Conversely, the OS University sported the worst secondary that I can ever remember.

They allowed about 1200 yards of passing to Gardner of all people....the worst q'back in the Big 10. Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown went to my high school and was an absolute disgrace in the secondary for 4 years.

Urban's recruits will start kicking in next year and there will be some major improvement in years to come on that side of the ball. I look for Miller to come back and will probably win the Heisman...provided the Buckeyes run the table.

But you're right...the Big 10 did themselves no favor by bringing in Maryland and Rutgers next year. How those 2 teams made it to a bowl game this season is a true head scratcher.

Woo Hoo! I finally had a good week!

Can't wait for the bowl games. Baylor is about a 16 pt favorite over UCF in the Fiesta Bowl and I hear that someone is calling it the "Sharknado" bo. Go ahead, sports media - blow up Baylor's head and piss UCF off. Makes for a tastier win. Now Baylor may beat UCF, but I think they're crazy for calling for a massacre.

Rather have seen Bama whoop FSU's ass. Auburn is speedy and flashy. Great matchup for FSU. I hate Auburn, and the base of my soul hates FSU. However, I like Winston. The game will be good, that's for damn sure.

I wish college football was year round.

Urban will get the top Ohio Recruits AND his share of Florida's as well. You are in the Championship game every year, practically guaranteed, as long as he's at OSU. I agree on Miller. He's a stud. Plus, we are now in your division, which means it just got a helluva lot tougher to win.

I only wagered for 2 weeks this year and quit up $420. Thank God I did quit because the last 2 weeks ould have cost me several grand.

I might just let er rip on the NCG. You can tout Auburn all you want boys and girls but this is the year that the SEC parade comes to an end. They are no match for Florida State.

True...the schedule was light. But consider this. FSU played 7 bowl teams this season.. The results...

at Pitt 41-13
at Boston College 48-34
Maryland 63-0
at Clemson 51-14
Miami Fla 41-14
Syracuse 59-3
Duke 45-7

Cumulative against bowl teams...348-85.

They also clubbed Florida, a team that was ranked ninth before the season started at the swamp...41-7.

And they are spotting Auburn a measely 8.5 points??? Seriously?

My prediction. 63-17 FSU.

I don't know Hairy. It would not hurt my feelings to see FSU trounce Auburn and the SEC party end this year. The epic National Championship everyone really wanted to see was FSU Vs. Ohio State or FSU Vs. Alabama.

Auburn runs a very interesting power option read type offense. It is very basic but they execute it extremely well. FSU did a great job dominating some middle of the road teams with their greatest win against Clemson. Auburn really played some hard fought games against much better talent throughout the season.

If FSU does win I think it will be a 3 or 7 point game. I wouldn't put a second mortgage on that double wide of yours just yet.

And Hairy usually hates UF unless he needs them to bolster an argument. So what if UF was a preseason #9? They were decimated by injuries an slid downhill all season. They actually did well against FSU, but beating them was no feather in FSU's cap. I mean, Ga Southern beat UF.
