SUMMARIZED RULES:

1) Pickers who elect to remain anonymous are welcome, but must adopt an unregistered sport's board name (ie. BroncoBoy) to get due recognition for your picks. Please identify yourself with each post.

2) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by USA Today (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

3) YOU CANNOT EDIT YOUR ORIGINAL PICK POST BEFORE GAME TIME!! You may pick a Thursday Night Game and make the rest of your picks in your original post before 11:00 AM SATURDAY EASTERN TIME!! If changing a pick after 11:00 AM EST on Saturday and before scheduled game, you must make a new post before game time. DO NOT EDIT YOUR ORIGINAL PICK POST after 11:00 AM EST or your PICKS will be disqualified!!!

4) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged. If a picker wants to add an unlisted game contact the interim coordinator BroncoBoy.

5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers (BRONCOBOY!). A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends. We don't want to evolve into vitriol and mean spiritness that got the poli board shut down. Be nice to one another.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the majority. There are no kings or queens on this board who have the final say. We are a democracy - and the majority rules. If the majority is only 2 people - so be it.

7) If there is a tie or pushed Game everyone will receive the pick as a "win."

8) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

9) PLEASE!! BOLD & UNDERLINE ALL OF YOUR PICKS!!

PICK EM TEAM! Ok I don't know if I can make this anymore clear concerning changing picks so I edited the rule concerning changing picks. Hopefully this will make it a little more clear about changing picks before game time:

What a f...ing farce. Stanford is 10-2. UCLA is 9-3. Oregon is 11-1. And guess who's coming to the PAC 12 championship game? Go look at their season stats. Oregon blows both of them clean out of the water. When I see shit like this I really feel like throwing in the towel and retiring from NCAA football as a spectator. If ND's "Teo" gets the Heisman on Dec 8 - I swear to God - no more. That'll be the straw that breaks the camel's back. At that point I will know for sure that the media has hijacked college football too and turned it into warm and fuzzy fanaticism. Anything to see a commercial or ad. Next they'll put "Teo" on a box of Wheaties and make him the honorary mayor of South Bend. These bastards are selling the nation right down the river. Shit, even Pravda gives me more truth today. I have to turn to Rolling Stone Magazine to find the truth about what's happening in DC and Wall Street. No bullshit. Hell, back in the old days Rolling Stone was a doper's magazine. Those of you old enough to remember know that. If my dad caught me with a copy he'd ground me for a week. Now I'm reading the shit for mainstream news. What a f'ed up country. I'm damn glad I'm as old as I am.

Well let me explain it to you. See Stanford became the champ of PAC 12 North by beating the crap out of Oregon. Both are 8-1 in conference but Stanford beat the Ducks. Simple s@%#.

"Beating the crap out of Oregon"? heh. Hilarious, dorkus.

Stanford won in OT by 3 points after the refs gave Stanford a bogus TD to tie the score in the 4th quarter with minutes on the board.

And your pick of Stanford over UCLA this coming Friday tells me that you're just another bait swallower who can't think for yourself. I already explained to you how the system works. But if you want to believe the sportswriters and ESPN knock your self out, Bubba.

Wow. Our last regular season Pick 'Em. It's been a short 14 weeks. Where has the time gone? This is where the Broncomeister is going to shine like the northern star. I got my eyes set on both Fuckie and Tink here. I want a win bad but will settle for a place. Can I catch Fuckie? It won't be easy. But this week I will consult with my personal football guru who has a direct line into Shiva for some expert pigskin advice.

I will pick Thursday's and Friday's games today. I need to put some deep, deep thought and contemplation into Saturday's games since this one is for all the marbles.

Good luck to all my competitors. But I have to be honest. I hope you lose and I win.

*********************************************************************

Thurs, 11/29

1. Louisville vs. Rutgers -3 [Louisville lost it's last two games - to Syracuse and Connecticut. Something's terribly wrong with their team. Probably internal dissention of some sort. Maybe racial tension. The coach probably pissed the players off. This is a home game for Rutgers - a good & hungry ball team by all accounts. I think Rutgers wants this one more than Louisville. That's the bottom line.]

2. No. Illinois vs. Kent State +6 [Everyone's been raving about Kent State. But the problem is the last time K.S. beat N.I. was back in 2001. N.I.'s victories are all by big margins. Kent St. is going to come up short this year too. No Illinois is the stronger team - much stronger than the 6 pt. spread.]

Fri, 11/30

3. UCLA vs. Stanford -8.5 [Ok. Here's the big game. I got this one all figured out. I go with UCLA. In fact, I think UCLA beats Stanford straight away and wins the PAC 12 championship. UCLA put on a half-assed performance last week to intentionally lose to Stanford to avoid playing Oregon in the conference championship. You know I changed my pick last week to Stanford. Well, this is the second half of that pick - and it's ain't going to change. UCLA brings their "A" game to Stanford Stadium ( just like they played against USC) and whallops Stanford's butt. This game will make all of you a big believer in BroncoBoy. :) ]

P.S. - We all know who the best team in the PAC 12 is: Oregon @ 11-1. The Ducks got screwed bad. My only hope is that they play an SEC team in a BCS bowl to take care of business and show the world who the real champs are! ;)

Holy shit.

Louisville and N Illinois

I'm in a restaurant celebrating and probably late. Fuck.

Damn, I picked against Rutgers every time they played and got burned. The one time I pick em and they burn me! I guess Louisville's Head Coach Charlie Strong is trying to make a good impression to get the Auburn or Arkansas job?

Northern Illinois Vs. Kent State is tomorrow night. Sorry about incorrectly posting the date. Are you already celebrating beating BroncoBoy in the regular season Pick Em? Have a cold one for me then. Something like a Sweet Water 420 or NewCastle. That new Sam Adam's Winter Lager is good too.

Well at least Auburn is courting some coach outside the SEC before the season is ended. So there's at least some semi-civilized behavior happening below the Mason-Dixon line.

Personally, if I were an athletic director I would not bring Strong on board. I really don't think he's that good. But I guess beggars can't be choosers! heh. :D

Rutgers had the game in the bag a couple times and blew it. Rutgers was the better team. A couple players made really stupid mistakes that lost the game. The other players should short-sheet them tonight.

Don't fret, Fuckie. There's 11 games left. But those who hesitate lose. Tink hit the Louisville game and gained a game on ya already. And don't copy Tink's picks either. She's smarter than that. Tink's no dummy. She'll change her picks prior to game time and leave you high and dry. You ain't the Queen yet, my pretty. Don't get too comfortable.

BTW, after the LeaderBoard is posted (hopefully Sunday night) there will be a little on-line ceremony to congratulate the new Queen or King of the regular season. It will be called "The Silver Crown Affair". Naturally, all of you are welcome to attend. Even the non-players. Please wear something presentable in your homes while viewing. No bun huggers or nighties please. No flip-flops. If it's later revealed that you wore something unseemly or performed an obscene act during the ceremony you will be banned from the upcoming bowl games and 2013/14 Pick 'Em season. And please don't wear the colors of your favorite team during the event. This will be a non-partisan function and the sole purpose is to honor the Silver Crown awardee. If you want to loosen up a bit before the show I suggest you imbibe on some of your favorite brew starting about 8 pm EST. We ask that BamaBoy complete the Week #14 scores by 9 pm EST so that Broncomeister can complete the LeaderBoard in a timely manner so that the ceremony is not delayed. And hopefully the LeaderBoard and Ceremony will not be 'moderated' by the CF ubermeisters and thereby delayed for your viewing pleasure.

It should be a fun event. All are invited. We will have special accomodations for the disabled (mental or physical). I urge all SEC fans to mingle. Don't be clannish and act like you're something special. Cuz you're not. Ok. So be there or be square. :D

I will have the pick em final posted on Sunday Afternoon. Hopefully after watching BAMA shit stomp the Dawgs. The Georgia "Jawja" players are talking a lot of shit about how much better they are than BAMA. Mark Richt is really stupid to let them run their idiot mouths like that...

I am watching the PAC-12 Championship Game right now and I cannot believe it is not a SELL OUT??!! This is why the BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL is played in the SEC. We have the most devoted and supportive fans in College Football. The SEC Championship Game was sold out months ago. I know fans of other teams who buy tickets before the season in hopes that their team will make it to Atlanta.

The PAC-12 Championship should be at a neutral site somewhere anyway. Maybe like Las Vegas or something? This is a home game for Stanford and they can't sell it out? This is totally unacceptable...

Just look at the Georgia Dome tomorrow and you will see how loud it is and that there will not be one empty seat in the place...The home of College Football is in the SEC, period...

It's because Californians are wimps when it comes to rain, we dont see it much so we dont know what to do in it.
