Welcome to Week 10 of NCAA FOOTBALL PICK EM! This Saturday will be "SEPARATION SATURDAY!!! We only have 4 weeks left to the regular season! Can you believe the College Football season is 3/4 over? It goes to fast for some and too slow for others (auburn fans).

DIRECTIONS: I have attached and posted the USA Today Odds for these 14 games and chose the "average," of all of the different odds making services that USA Today endorses. Please choose wisely and see if you will be the NCAA COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKER for the week. This is only for bragging rights!

2) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by USA Today (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

3) YOU CANNOT EDIT YOUR PICKS & POSTS BEFORE GAME TIME!! You may pick a Thursday Night Game and make the rest of your picks before 11:00 AM SATURDAY EASTERN TIME!!

4) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged. If a picker wants to add an unlisted game contact the interim coordinator BroncoBoy.

6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the majority. There are no kings or queens on this board who have the final say. We are a democracy - and the majority rules. If the majority is only 2 people - so be it.

If you've bothered to analyzed my former picks you'd note that I don't always pick the team that I want to win. I pick the team who I think WILL win or beat the spread. You would be correct to say that I want LSU and Oregon to win. I want Oklahoma State to beat Kansas State too. But I haven't completely decided any of my picks yet. The Boise-SDSU game is a toss-up and to be quite honest I don't think my boys from Boise can beat the spread. SDSU is not a bad team at all. I pick to win, not to please the home team. Please make that part of the record.

I've learned there's no such thing as "gimmies" in Pick 'Em.

I thought last week's USC-Arizona, Florida-Georgia, Washington-Oregon State and Notre Dame-Oklahoma games were "gimmies" too.

It's highly unlikely that USC would beat Oregon or that Oregon would beat them by less than 8 points.

But nothing is impossible.

I think this weekend is the turning point. A critical week for college football which will determine who the alpha dogs will be.

2. Washington vs. Cal -4.5 [Another one of those head scratchers. Why is Cal (3-6) favored over UW (4-4) after UW beat both Stanford and Oregon St? Makes no sense.]

Sat, 11/03

3. Oklahoma vs. Iowa St +11 [Okla State comes back big to salvage the season after an embarrassing loss to ND]

4. Texas AM vs. Miss State +7 [Only decent team Miss St has played is Bama and got their asses kicked. It's about time they had respectable teams on their schedule]

5. Syracuse vs. Cinncinnati -4 [Cinn comes back with a vengeance after back to back losses to Toledo and a nailbiter to Louisville. But this will be a good game. Both teams have their strengths. But Cinn wins at home by a TD or more.]

6. TCU vs. W. Virginia -6.5 [W. Virgina lost their last 2 games by huge margins to K-State and Tx Tech. I still have faith in TCU. Sooner or later they will bring home a win.]

7. Ole Miss vs. Georgia -14 [Sure, Georgia beat Florida - but I'm not impressed with their schedule so far. I don't think they'll win by 15 points.]

8. Pitt vs. Notre Dame -16.5 [I bet that Pitt comes to this game with fire in their bellies. ND and Pitt hate each other. And Pitt has shown some sparks of brilliance in 2012. I think ND has their hand full here. The spread is way too wide. ND has been known to flounder at home. Look at their thin margins of victory at home. This may be the shocker of the week.]
