Sound like our leader is just up to his old tricks again. At least this time there are no kids to get hurt and his current is a scank who deserves what she gets. Once a cheater, always a cheater which is why I will throw myself at him and will not feel guiltty at all!
 


Is retention at all a priority? Does management care? It is a sign of a systemic issue at the top. Most companies value their employees and do not want them to leave. I am shocked by the cavalier nature of it all.

I noticed a couple new openings on the web site. Looks like the turnover rate has not slowed this year.
 


NO LIFE PIECE'S OF SHIT. WHERE IS MY WIFE TONIGHT? ANOTHER FUCKING DINNER WITH "KEY ACCOUNTS" OR IS IT "STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS?" WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. I GUESS WE'LL SEE HER AROUND 10 OR 11 AGAIN TONIGHT. I feel the same way about my SkinMedica husband! He hasn't used a day of vacation in a year. My neighbor is a recently divorced sales manager that works from home for a medical supply company. He's home at least 3 days a week and many times he's home all week because I see him doing things in his yard. He's friends with my husband and when he comes over, he makes fun of my husband right to his face about why he leaves me home alone so often and for so long! And then he makes fun of the products too! "So you work 80 hours a week selling cosmetics?" Really? So embarrassing.
 






What is mgmt like

Hey, interested in knowing more about culture. What are the mgrs like. females tend to be competitive even if your their sales rep. I want a laid back company. I dress very well as all in the industry and spend tons on clothing, props.. do you have male mgmt.. Are they pigs or good fellas.

If you can not be honest, please do not waste my time

Interesting that you ask about culture. There really is no culture. The company is riding on age old products that have been surpassed in the market. Nothing new coming out. This is a job to have if you need to get some experience but don't count on it for a career. There is a lack of leadership. Just a job.
 


Not a good place to be. It's 24/7 365 no vacations and no life. If you dare to take days off or spend time with family after work, you will be fired in very short order. DM's are gross middle aged to late middle aged mostly women that look like Joan Rivers! Sales director is not capable. He should have never been hired! We don't need that position based on what he does and does not bring to the table.

I couldn't agree more - same when I worked there. You are never not working, emails all times of the day/night and yes, the DM's are ridiculous.
 


This is really scaring me. I have already seen my manager is a total work aholic and has nothing to focus her time on except work. I really hope I have not made a mistake. I work hard and smart, but I am not doing emails from her or anyone all night long or ever on weekends. My personal relationships are far more critical to my life than any job.
