NATIONAL SALES GROUP IS A SCAM!!

Do not sign up with them or give them money. I am sure many of you who are actively looking for a new job have seen their ads on careerbuilder and others, about getting interviews and what not. They just take your money and do nothing to help you get a job.

I agree, I called the number, the first thing they ask is which credit card will I be using. what a fraud! They even had the balls to tell me to get ready for interviews and an offer within 3 weeks!!...Beware of them folks.

How about some of the more private ones??? I met a guy who seems really good. What do you guys think???
Do not use anyone that asks for all of the money upfront. These guys will be more than happy to take your cash, and then tell you to do the same things that you can find in any well-respected career-changer or job finder book.
I know plenty of people that have gone this route and they all have similar stories.

Well I am glad that others have posted their run ins with this company.

That is good advice not to pay anyone for a job.

Do a google search and see the others that bit and got taken.

Buyer be ware!!!!

National Sales Group is known to be a SCAM. The problem is that CareerBuilder.com makes revenue from them so they are not about to turn them away although Careerbuilder and Monster.com know it's a SCAM they are generating income from NSG and both ignore the SCAM. What you need to do is contact these job sites and complain to them that they are hurting their credibility keeping them on their sites. NSG is nothing more than facade, it is a phantom , not a real employent service but a group of opportunists who are taking advantage of the many people out of work and desperate and hurting for a job and will do anything to find work. NSG is a fake organization that tries to cheat you out of money and gives nothing in return. They are CROOKS with just an internet site and no real address, just a boiler room with people on the phones trying to get your credit card info. In some cases they will charge your card several times and you will spend weeks trying to get the charges taken off your credit card. If you are a victim of NSG then you are classified in their book as an easy mark. But remember it is Careerbuilder and Monster that keep them alive. And remember also if it is to good to be true (it's fubar).

advice please...I gave them my company Am Ex credit card told them to charge small amounts, (U know...gas amounts) there's a $250.00 charge! what do I do? Only serious replies.

National Sales Group will take your money any way they can. I cancelled my involvement with them 5 months ago. They continued to charge me every month. I called on 4/12, 5/14, 6/12 and 7/22/2009. On the first three calls, they told me they would cancel my membership. Today, when talking with one of their managers they asked for a confirmation number and the email they would have sent me and called me a liar. They never did and they continued to chagrge me. I asked for a refund on the charge for next month, the confirmation number and the email that their represnetative told me today that he had sent and I had not recieved. I was told they could not refund next months fees but I could have the cancellation number. How big of them. They have done nothing for their money and really are a huge rip off. Avoid at all costs!

Today is 7/21 so your date of 7/22 must be an error. They're going to keep charging you month after month because they can. If it were me, I would cancel the card that they are tapping. Then, I would reopen it right away. That way you'll have a new account number and they won't be able to tap you for any more cash.

Sucks. Good luck!

Thanks for all the postings here... I almost fell into the hands of these guys today... Thanks to God that I never gave out my credit card information before reviwing their scams report... thanks once again guys...

For those of you already fallen for them, it is simple, just report to your banks to stop autohrizing such payments.. Banks will do that right away for sure, I have done it before....

Be sure when you cancel your account you DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!! I just found out that they were still charging my account a year and a half after I cancelled the service (which was three months after I had opened the account and they did NOTHING), and they said that they had no record of me doing so. After a fairly heated argument, they agreed to refund me for the last 6 months, but only after I threatened to call a lawyer.

Someone (preferably someone in CA who has documented their fraud) should literally call the cops on these people. They have to be breaking a whole array of laws.

This company is a complete fraud!!!! I spoke with KYLE and he was an ignorant JERK! I then spoke with his uneducated bitch of a boss and she was even worse. Her name is EVA Brazzaro. She has a power trip and pretty much admitted that people are stupid for doing this bullshit program. They take your money without your permission. I would rather stab myself in the genitals before using their service again...what a pathetic joke!!!

ahhh Yes... The Italian boiler room. The mafia is not making $$$ off of racketeering that they use to. They have become more creative and now use services such as MED BLAST (a jewish scam group) and now we have NSG. Those busy NEasterners are worried about the gravy train of the medical sales world coming to a close. Poor guys!

I just called Careerbuilder customer service to complain about National Sales Group. I was told that this company does not have any ads on their job board, however, if I have a resume listed with Careerbuilder, the company can purchase their list of resumes so figure this is how they got my resume. I told gal I was very angry about this company. I got a call with a voicemail and it instructed me to call them back. I decided to Google the company first and that is how I found out they are a scam. They have called me several times but I will not call them back. Since there is a high rate of unemployment, I figure there are a lot of scams out there right now as people are so desperate for work.

They called me todya dn told me is was 29.00 once I gave them my credit crad number he proceeded to tell me about S/H for what??? Anyway that was an additional 9.95. I told him to cancel right now. I called my bank asap and cancelled my card but now have the hassle of having to get a new card and everything. DO NOT USE THEM.
