National Sales Force??

Bag 4 is Pristiq and Lyrica FM this was on every conference call made by RBD - We are hearing may 100- 150 reps ( not sure about that number but positive on the bag

That's not what we were told at all.

Bag 1, Eliquis et al., [RBU structure]

Bag 2, Toviaz et al.,, [National Sales Force]

Bag 3, Pristiq and Lyrica [National Sales Force]

There is no bag 4. "Bag 4" is women's heatlh, and will be contracted out.

Maybe it was different on your call, but this is what we were told.

Here's the way it was explained to us:

Cluster 1 Pain RBU

Cluster2 Eliquis RBU

Cluster 3 Toviaz Natl.

Cluster 4 Pristiq Natl.

Quit talking about Cluster 1. Not in equation unless too heavy on certain areas. Like was mentioned in territory post, think Bag #1 (Eliquis) will go unchanged for the most part. Think Bag #2 and #3 will cover whole districts or maybe more.

Think Wyeth buyout and Pfizer reps were safe back in 2009....yea...

So I don't get how they wil have a layoff with this configuration. Still need reps for the bags

Then picture this ....

Places with piss poor access will see major cutbacks.

Smaller volume territories will likely be rolled into larger territories. So ..if you have 3 territories ... the smallest one will be rolled into the biggest 2, and you eliminate reps.

Think RMs and DMs ... there probably won't be any RMs in the National Structure. Right now, you have BU, RBU, RM, DM .... cut out the RMs ... you just cut Management. Also, where territories merge, could see fewer districts ... thus DM cuts.

Where there are geographies with more than three total reps ... somebody is losing a job unless they keep two Eliquis" reps. Also .. when geographies are drawn up and smaller geographies eliminated, thus combining reps of geographies ... someone is losing a job.

I can see this getting real nasty, real quick. Question is, can they increase Market Share, and thus profits with fewer reps. It's not going to work out well if they cut a few million in rep salaries, but then lose a few Million in revenue. But .. then the wizards of smart in corporate dont' have much of a track record of being the brightest lighbulbs in the box when it comes to sales.
