If we get sick at the meeting, does the company then have us stay at the hotel in quarantine for 10 days until we test negative? Kinda curious about this because some people will have Covid and I'd love to know what the plan is to do with them. They can't put them on a plane home.

I’ve heard from colleagues that have flown over the last couple month’s that it is truly survival of the fittest, 3rd world like as 1/4 flights are cancelled daily. Expect to be stranded in airports for days. Biden’s ‘Merica!
 






Great point, what will they do when people start testing positive and/or getting symptoms? Pay for the extra hotel nights, food, and flights home after the 10 day quarantine?? I doubt anyone will even get there or get home without airline issues. It’s on the news daily that thousands of flights are being canceled. This meeting is a waste of time and money.
 


















Common sense isn’t too common. This is a logistical nightmare. If someone gets sick, it’s likely the whole region gets sick (they eat, talk hangout together). Now you have 8-10 people out of work for 8-10 days AT LEAST. Multiple that by 8-10 regions getting sick. DUMB DUMB DUMB. Who’s call is this?

quarantine in one big room and have workshops the whole time.

We ARE a healthcare company, right?


It’s not a matter of “If” this meeting serves as a hospot for an outbreak amongst It’s employees, but rather how bad the pre-programmed guaranteed outbreak is going to be. Everyone is going to be on edge, no one is going to learn a thing.

This NSM (National Superspresder Meeting) should probably be postponed. Do the right thing Amarin, these are our lives. These are our families. This meeting can be pushed a few months. Please, do the right thing Amarin, you’re better than this.

That’s how you interpreted this persons comment? I personally do not live my life in fear at all but all of the doctors I call on agree we shouldn’t be taking unnecessary risks during this spike. Are none of our employees high risk? Their family members? I’m not scared at all of COVID, what I am more scared of is how this decision by Amarin will affect those most at risk and how it might be interpreted by our investors and prescribers.
