Naptara

Research the disease state and product. Talk to doctors, pharmacists then decide if you want to proceed. Leadership from the CEO on down isn't what you would call top tier. Good luck.

Natpara is NOT a "me too" drug so whoever wrote that is either an idiot or a troll that has no clue. Natpara is the ONLY drug for hypoparathyroidism, a rare disease. That said, this division, like Shire, is a $hit $how. Anyone who knows anything about rare disease is LONG gone from this place. Perry and his band of idiots made sure of that. RBD's are leaving rather then try to implement Dave the robot's scary strategy... As an aside, if someone in a leadership position makes a big deal of their "carrying the bag", it's always a good thing to check if their bag carrying experience was a check the box move, like Robo Dave and the Flemster. If you are wanting "rare disease" experience, look elsewhere. Real rare disease companies have caught on to the fact that Shire rare disease experience isn't real rare disease. It is metric based, reach and frequency driven. Honest advise is unless you are unemployed, or a masochist, look elsewhere.

Automated Robotic PreProgrammed Scripted Dave executing Perry's primary strategy is NOT rare disease. There are prescription PO drugs available to treat this condition. Patients prefer that route, so do docs.

It's a me too drug. You can take vitamin D and calcium and get the same benefits. Run from this place.

Spoken like someone who never understood the clinical manifestations of the disease or it's impact on kidney, bone turnover, soft tissue calcification, etc. For your sake, I hope your Mom never gets hypopara. I wouldn't want you to miss an opportunity to drive her to the ER. I just hope she remembers your phone number when she crashes. Please tell me you aren't a Natpara RBM - patients don't need people like you.

You've been brainwashed. It's an open-rices me too. And the docs know it. Get a clue.

Choosy Mom's with hypopara choose prescription vitamin D and prescription calcium over Natapara and cancer any day and so do providers!

How do you sleep at nite selling that overpriced dog with a side of cancer at no extra charge? For your sake I hope you see thru all the bs and realize the truth about the propaganda you're peddling in that bag of yours. FO bought a copy with two failed drugs and you my friend are drinking his Danish Kool Aid.

So you are saying that Natpara has a positive effect on kidney, bone turnover, soft tissue calcification, etc? Is this what you sell on or is this just a HQ attempt to get this info in to the public domain so search engines will find it?

Someone get this idiot some more kook aid. What a joker.

I am finally free of this awful business unit. First off like 6-8 people out of 78 territories are making numbers. Yes! Quite honestly its not the RBMs fault- but leadership. Terrible forecasting of this product- there is an tremendous amount of pressure rolling down on RBDs to get people to produce and off label discussions are occurring. I heard a manager in the mid Atlantic region wanted his people to solicit off label questions to be submitted for emirfs. Oh and he is still there! WTF? Seriously, compliance is not taking seriously here despite 2 CIAs. Its a matter of time that Shire will get its hand slap and cough up the money. Unless you absolutely need a job, save yourself the pain and effort and go with a legit company.
We are all trying to get out.

Well said.

If you think this drug is a "dud," then why are you spending time talking about it? Did you not do well during your interview?
