This is too funny. Like Merck has the time to track me down and fire me for buying a condo in FL. Really? Think about it for a second. How long would it take a company like Merck to research & investigate a case? I think it may take several months at the least, not a couple weeks.

They would have to look at every real estate transaction done in FL & cross reference it with a list of all the employees. That is if I used my name as the buyer/owner of the property instead of a company. With a company you will have to look at every company that bought real estate in FL and then look at each company to find who the owner/owners is/are. Do you know how many companies buy real estate in FL every year?

Anyway, I've got my caterer delivering a breakfast for a customer/friend this morning and I'm several hundred miles away getting ready to discuss some condo remodeling options with a contractor then I've got a tee time later. Then it's playoff baseball & MNF tonight. As you all know I'm a busy guy!

They found and disciplined that finleyfarmer guy from a few years ago REALLY quickly, within weeks. His ass was fired as well.
 






Hello everyone!

I hope everyone made it through the holidays and is weathering the winter well. I have been down at the condo as much as possible. I have had to do a little Merck work recently with some meetings and conference calls.

The condo is coming along great. Got the updated kitchen in it and my wife and I were down a lot before the holidays getting it painted. Had the kids down for a week at Christmas which was a great time. Golfing, the beach and cooking out poolside in the evening while having a nice single malt is the best!

Had some friends come down after the kids left and did a lot of dining out and celebrating. Don't worry, me and my buddy got a lot of golf in while the wife's had their retail therapy at all the local shops. I don't plan on changing anything in the way of my lifestyle any time soon. I'm getting paid very well to golf and soak up the sun.

It's so nice to take morning conference calls while sitting on the patio looking at the pool & ocean drinking my coffee. Or reading emails while sitting on my golf cart. I still get a rush! Take care everyone. I just thought I'd let you know that I'm alive & well and still on the Merck payroll! Now get out there & make some calls! Just kidding, does anyone actually make calls anymore? Just get out there and have fun! Remember Merck is paying you regardless!

Monday begins with a concerted timeline to get the pink slips out the door. The sooner I get them out the higher my bonus and stock options.

The auto companies have been supplied with the terminated personnel names and locations. Contact will be prompt immediately after official notifications are made by HR. Cars picked up within a week.
