Well, it finally happened. Met our friend GG for dinner last night, and it was a lot of fun. She is doing awesome and seems really happy. Leo, she is very hot in person. And they were some gorgeous-looking Gams (from what I could tell under the suit).

This was my seond CP Metting and a lot of fun. She says hi to everyone.

How nice.

Libs! Great night out! So, glad you were able to drive over. What a fun night. Sorry, I am such a cheap date anymore! ;-). Loved the conversation and evening!

I'd love to have been a 'fly-on-the-wall' for that conversation.

GG, you are missed.

So why didn't you crazy kids get it on?...just joking.
We miss you Gammy,I just put on a 1099 in Milwaukee if I ever visit him I will call you. Drop a dime some time kid I miss you. Libs thanks for the heads up i'm a tit starer and it's embarrassing when I get caught. Ah the good ol days.

I also had the pleasure of having dinner with GG and I will confer with Van Smack - She is a remarkable woman and has become one of my most treasured friends.

Sorry I have not been around much on CP. Not in the biz anymore and the final years weren't pleasant either personally or professionally. My saving grace is the great friendships I have made here and even on FB. After my stroke, I am just not the fast thinking, over-the-top, crazy gal I once was. Life cetainly does not get easier as we gets older. That said, I would love to meet other oldtime CPers!

I agree. Next time I am up your way Van Smack, we need to get together, starting with a 4:20 PM "pick me up," then some Music talk (no politics though). Hopefully, it will be two nights, so I can visit my other Philly friend.

Just starting to experience that GG. Actually 'thinking of' moving to a gated, 'over 55', small community with all single story homes. Nice pool, nice spa, nice clubhouse. Tired of walking up and down the stairs all the time. Tired of screaming kids on skateboards up and down the sidewalks. Just want some wine drinking and/or pot smoking, sexy senior citizens. Jeez...who woulda thunk it?

No doubt - Just drop me a line - Would be great to to get together and have you sample some of the local 'flavor' with some music and sports talk. Keep me posted - I am fairly close to Philly.

Hell, if I could afford to live in one of those places, I'd already be there. I love those gated communities. My aunt and uncle in FL moved into one and they're in a 2 bedroom apartment. Meals are served by tuxedo'd waiters and there's a happy hour every day from 5 to 7. And the food is to die for...oh, maybe that's a bad choice of words.

One more great thing? The real estate is already sold, there won't be any squabbling over dividing that asset....

Nice idea for later but these aren't quite that extreme. They're classified as houses with 4 exterior walls, a yard and 2 car garage. You own them just like anywhere else although an HOA maintains the pool and common grounds. No apartments, only homes, 3 BR & 2 BR models with 2 car garages and kitchens, etc - you do your own cooking and no officially hosted Happy Hour, you gotta BYOB or roll your own. The major difference is, no kids live there (except visitors) and there's a front gate. On one hand, we enjoy hearing the kids out playing in our neighborhood. On the other hand, it's a miracle one of them doesn't get killed on a skateboard around the time people are getting off work. I'm ready for some peace and quiet and if I wanna here kids and noise, I can drive to the beach.

Even saw a couple of doable 55ers walking around.
