So just how bad are you going to rape MS patients w/ Lemtrada?? Take a look at what's happening w/ Avastin and Lucenta. The same thing is going to happen with Campath and Lemtrada. I already know that a group of docs have approached the FDA on this. Time will tell.

you are such a moron for even stating that you know that "a group of doc's have already approached the FDA". What is that "group" of doc's going to do? If these doc's could ever get together and do anything, we wouldn't be working under such restricted guidelines. The doc's are a bunch of pussies and they always will be. they let the federal government crap all over them all the time, never stand up for themselves, and now you think this "group" of docs is going to accomplish exactly what? The FDA will eventually approve Lemtrada and then genzyme will overcharge for the drug because they can. The drug is significantly better than any of the interferons, tysabri, copaxone or fingolomod. The docs may not be able to use it 1st line depending on how the safety stuff shakes out with the labeling. But make no mistake about it, Lemtrada is on the way. After the initial shock of price wears off(Which will be quickly), that "group" of docs will be lining up their patients and doing prior auths because this will be the best available option on the market. You must be selling one of the aforementioned drugs and are trying to scare off anyone looking at that job. If so, do yourself a favor and post for one of the available positions.

Well actually hiring from other companies already in MS could be a bit of a mistake. Docs don't like folks that jump ship and from drug to drug in the same therapeutic area. it can look cheesy ... maybe bring in folks with neuro for relationships and avoid reps with baggage!!! just a thought ... good luck everybody!

wishful thinking from a neuro-rep without MS experience. Quite the contrary actually in MS.

This is so wrong!!

This is the slowest hiring process I have ever seen. No mention if they have hired a East sales director which has to be done before hiring Reg Directors. Why even post rep jobs.

Because now that Genzyme has become part of Sanofi that is the way we do things. Nothing ever makes sense and no reasoning is ever given.
