MS Neuro contract

This is a beautiful thing!!! I needed a job desperately and I was the only person they interviewed, to good to be true?? This VI background co. said I am cleared so I guess when you interview as the only candidate, which is very odd for a job that pays out 85k with bene's I guess I better take it even though I have never been one to want to be considered a "Step child" contract rep... but this was gravy!!!!!! Welcome team!

Good for you!! What is VI background co? did they contact you directly? What day did you interview? Territory? Do you know any details about last week? Some of us were told 85-90 for base, so make sure you get what you can!!:)

It is the co. Pub hired to do bk ground checks, they contacted me last week. I got what I asked with salary, higher than I thought, but the 3 yr contract IMO is the kicker, this is a great gig.

Also got offer. All sounds good except client company seems to be a mess. I also know that area neuros have a rep for this product yet Touchpoint says we "own" our territories. Anyone have any other insight?

I am seeing all these posts here and on the other Publicis thread about people getting offers today. What I cannot understand is no one has mentioned who the client is and what the product is? I mean isn't that odd??

Yes there is local reps, but who cares, you will own your target base and doc target list, that is all that matters, if you have a good rep to work with and they have solid results and relationships, than you can work 2 days a week, fake those sigs, give pub their contract calls per day and budget spend and the rest is history. This was a very smooth and easy one interview process, no complaining on my end. I needed a gig, and this is a great 3 year cake walk, who cares if there is exisiting share of voice. You have no big pharma training, expectations or all that other busy work, just log the calls per the contract and cash your check. Gessh. People, how many of you can get a one interview, 91K job with good bene's and no training like the big pharma crap. BE thankful. This is one of the easiest gigs out there and a great contract for 3 years.... this was a gift job. If you don't like it, then move on, but some of us needed this. They are not handing out 3 yr. contracts with 90k+ salaries like they used too, and certainly not with one 45min interview like this one!!!!!!! This is choice!!!!

Where are you located? I am in an area which was part of the West Region states. I know one person who interviewed and got email yesterday (no go on job) I am still waiting and when contacted recruiter today was told not aware of decisions yet made on finalists. If you could share where you're located it would be helpful. I still don't understand why no one who says that accepted an offer is not saying who the client is and the product. That to me is very odd. Lots of details but missing info like that...

I hate to tell you that I think most of the offers went out already and you would have been told by either manager or director who the client was if you were moved on. The good news is that you are probably haven't been completely rejected and they are probably waiting to see if 1st choice candidate is fully on board. Good luck to you.
