I read the thread about UBC. Want to see if this is a different contract.
Specialty Neurology 2287 , emphasis on MS.
Any info appreciated. Was contacted by recruiter about position.
Phone interviews last week December.
F2F week of 1/14/13.

Thx.

has to be different contract since ucb doesn't have ms drug and their existing contract is for parkinsons, restless legs, epilepsy. You were contacted and didn't ask these questions?!

I could of asked if I was called. I got an email from recruiter requesting
that I fill out much info, answer about 10 questions and get everything
back immediately or would not be considered. Pretty lengthy process but
provided info that will go to hiring mgr and see where it goes from there.

Could the OP and #3 poster share where they saw the info on these jobs? Sell MS drug and want to make sure it"s not our company...does it say Pfizer? They just had layoffs

On PSS website under job postings; specialty neuro sales reps, ms experience mentioned in job description; they never post the name of the pharma, so whoever posted the pfizer response may know or just be guessing but if that's true, then its seronos drug rebif.

OP here..
Sorry no mention of product in info I filled out.
Posting and what I sent in only referred to as a specialty pos
calling on Neurologists, MS exp pref not necessary.
If I get called to move forward in process will post.

THANK YOU

I was just layer off by Pfizer and I do know that we have an MS team that has sole responsibility of Neurologists. That is the only specialist they call on. I would be curious to see what happens with them. I saw a post months ago that our (Not ours anymore, theirs MS team and hospital/Vaccine teams were going to go contract or dissolved.

Thanks for the info and sorry you were laid off.

so then it has to be rebif; how is this doing in marketplace compared to competitors and any idea why there are no southern territories posted other than la - md and de are southernmost territories, I'm in fl?

Follow up: I do know this from email I originally got from recruiter: F2f interviews in my area are week of 1/14/2013.

Training is 3 wks home study starting Feb 11th 2013. After that one week (March 4) to go to their training. When I filled out email form with many questions I answered 85-110K expected compensation. Assuming since I was called for phone interview base must be in that area. Will post after call.

What I learned from my phone screen:

3 year contract, at the end of the contract the contractees will be hired by the company

Car allowance rather than company car. and .19/mi

Interviews the week of 1/14

Bonus is up to 25% of base sal, base salary s/b around 90K

The territories are large
