MS and CM

The Majority of the time, doesnt rating=rankings?
I havent heard of MANY reps that got bumped Up or Down by their RD for competencies. A few here and there...but as a whole- sales ranking=appraisal rating. Am i wrong?

My overall ranking was around 300 and another reps ranking was just over 400 and we both got CM's.
 
























That is annoying bc 2 reps in my region had rankings in the high 300's & both received MS ratings. But our Rd is an ass & probably enjoyed giving a MS rating.

Do you live in a region with good managed care? It's possible that they deserved a MS if they were unable to grow share with no managed care restrictions. That's the whole idea of including rep compatancies in the performance appraisal... Good reps with horrible managed care won't always get screwed with an MS.

Sure grow girl make excuses. Funny how you mention a regions managed care. Within the same region there are differences of rep ranks of hundreds! It's not like we are talking about different zones. It amazes me how the managers pet continue to fool the RD with shitty numbers blaming good or bad managed care when a rep with a territory right next to them gets the job done. The subjective RD ratings are fantasy.

I think this poster is correct. Shire does need to trim some fat. The good salespeople should win the day.
 






The truth is there are hundreds of reps with CM in the last 2 years, you could have been ranked 150 or 400, it doesn't seem right to use this as the dominant criteria with no rankings involved. I want to know the weighting on each of the 3 areas if the managers really have no say! Is it 45% ratings, 40% geography and 15% tenure or what?!

I'm realizing that this is making me physically ill, I'm tired, depressed and even though I want to work, I am not up to it. And I'm probably safe but this experience is taking a toll on me.
