MPL to declare bankruptcy?

Corporate vultures have swooped into the ol' lab and made lives miserable for the employees, which is why some of the staff are leaving for a better place, or a new lab. New Lab, fresh start, better opportunities, faster growth (not management pocketing all the profits). It's easier to provide for the mass of private doctors offices when your a faster, smaller and more nimble company, not like sitting around in Ivory towers on a farm having meetings about aboslutely nothing, trying to pass the hours while whipping sales reps and couriers and phlebotomists into submission and threatening them with layoffs. Sure, they no longer value their employees, but try to replace them with temp or part time workers. Let them bleed their once loyal employees until the better of the employees get fed up and leave,.. this is the beginning of answering Doctors prayers of finding new competition and reinstilling a little pride into an enslaved and repressed employee.

I believe your medication has to be increased. You are definitely showing signs of delusion. Could be time the the rubber room and a straight jacket.

As a 3rd party person reading for enjoyment, I must point out this post started almost 10 months ago and Manhattan Med Labs is still in play...So, congrats to them for outlasting this post, and second, don't rip just for ripping sake! Who ever is knocking them, I think you need to go about your own business. You probably can help MML, so why not join them. They pay better than the bigger labs and do not have the overhead...TG is all about paying people...and realizing he will get growth if he does indeed have to pay them...not such a bad plan...If someone is a good salesperson, go for it...You'll make more there than at places like Quest and Labcorp...

Does anyone see Manhattan reps or managers in accounts? I have very large and profitable accounts that they never try to get into. My guess is they are going into Medicaid mills and " questionable" physician accounts.

Where are your large and profitable accounts? I just want to know, promise I won't go in.

I may have been in one of your accounts, a Chinese Dr in Forest Hills, sits in a small wooden chair? He specialized in enlarged testicles from poor posture in plastic chairs.

I interviewed with these guys a few months back and they have nothing to do with any type of Medicaid. Sounds to me like you are clueless. Also get a grip on reality as these guys are growing big time. I was shocked when I saw their new facility and operation.

Any news to the rumor that Enigma Labs are going after pediatricians?

I work for Quest, and they took over one of my Pediatric accts. What really bothered me is that they mangled my lab box.

I've spoken to my mentor, but he says not to get involved, I may sleep with the fishes.
Does that mean that I have BO?

You mean they have more than a 500 square foot lab, collect more than 100 samples per day, and have more than one PSC? The investors must be very proud.

Its all bull !!! Most of the good Reps left LCA and work here and everyone knows it !!! They donnot treat employees like LCA and are building this co !!! Good Luck T/G as your small group should do well !!!! The others are just jealous !!!

never heard of manhatten labs or some of these other initials yall are writing down but was let go fom randox labs and want to make sure none of yall ever go there to work lots of problems in the lab industry right now and they are not the right place to go if you want to have alot of sales

MPL has horrible reps, no insurances not because they choose to but because no carrier wants them, poor turn-around-time, can't perform their own testing. No wonder they are going under

Horrible reps? What MPL are you dealing with? And as far as no carrier wanting them, not being able to do their own tests, and poor turn-around time, you're simply wrong. MPL participates with multiple insurance companies, turn around time for most tests is 24 hours, and they perform most of the testing at their own lab in NJ. You simply don't know what you're talking about.

Most of the qualified staff at MPL left LCA due to they were over achievers and could not stand working in the good ole boy mentality . You may be a small company but again I wish you well . Again you are in NJ not N.Carolina where skill set is no where near the NE .Everyone knows this . Keep going it all takes time .Best of luck Tom .
