We're up to 4 now, 1) Theory of everything 2) Boyhood 3) Imitation Game 4) Grand Budapest Hotel. 1 & 2 are still the best IMHO. This weekend shooting for (pardon pun) American Sniper, Birdman & Whiplash. Thoughts anyone?

Theory of everything --was great; Imitation Game --was amazing(hope it wins!);Grand Budapest-- was weird and slow, cant believe it won a Golden Globe. Havent seen American Sniper- but heard it was good.

Gone Girl was great, disapointed it did not get any nominations.

Liked it better than Birdman but it was kinda quirky. It took awhile for me to 'get into it'. I never did 'get into' Birdman really.

Up to 7 now, 1) Theory of everything 2) Boyhood 3) Imitation Game 4) Grand Budapest Hotel 5) Whiplash 6) Birdman & 7) American Sniper. Wow! 1 & 7 are the best now, IMHO. Again, save your money on Birdman.

I think Selma is the only contender we've missed.
