More Layoffs

Heard late yesterday that there were over 50 people let go primarily from the Managed Care area. All regional account managers and all of the government affairs team. Rochentech is so stupid in letting these folks go. Most are very tenured and have great experience and can not be replaced with younger/cheaper people. The end of Genentech is in sight. You could see the end when Leiginger was hired 6-7 years ago. Way past time for him to get cut.
