Someone should just post the job postings again so this tool quits trolling an entire company. It's really not that witty or funny.

By my count, we've just passed 100 sales postings on the web site and climbing. It's literally a mass exodus and no one else is crazy enough to get on the boat

The folks taking a position with this company are the unemployed or those seeking a temporary fix for a one year stay. LifeVest is not a long term play with the way quotas are set. Compensation is only good during the the first 12-14 months. After that, all bets are off. Not feasible.

They LOVE the turnover as it builds their pocketbooks. This info has been on this web site for years about he management, how things are ran, the ridiculous quotas and misleading managers and recruiters. This is not about anyone's ability to sell the LV. Growing medical orders is the easy part. You cannot control revenue bookings even with solid order growth. That my friends is the main problem! The million dollar consultants will arrive at the same conclusion. LOL. They could have just asked us.

Well said. Totally agree. They should have asked the field and front line management. They would have saved lots of cash for sure. Revenue doldrums are here to stay for most territories.

I'm confused. There has been years of information out on CP about the revenue bookings and the expected growth and how it spirals out of control. However, you still chose to come here. You knew how things worked, you must have known about the goals that continue to go up, so why did you think you were different than the other 200 reps that were here in the exact same territory before you? Did you honestly believe the bullish** that the manager and recruiter told you that they didn't have the right person in place until YOU came along? Even if you believed what they said, a half way decent sales person should be checking their facts and if you talked to anyone in this industry you would have found out the same information about how the sales goals and revenue quotas get out of control. My guess is that you ignored what others told you, because you are super special. Now you're leaving the nightmare as everyone else here and need to find your exit strategy. I'm dumbfounded as to how much information is out there about LV and the revenue/quotas and yet everyone ignores what they know and then comes here and complains.

I for one thought i could surpass the quota growth. I was dead wrong. After a while, the terriory corrects itself and reality sets in. Yes, we keep growing. But certainly not at the crazy pace that the engineers minds and Marshall leftovers dream up.

The goal was set to what the territory was actually doing when you started so you could keep up for a bit. With the ever increasing quota increases it spins out of control and nobody can keep up, you leave and then the quota is lowered to what the territory is actually doing agin for the next person. Wake up people, this info has been out on CP for a long time.

Like the stock market, territories go through market corrections. It will grow then correct itself with revenue challneges. After TM and RMs realize they cannot keep the lights on, they leave and the cycle starts all over again. In the meantime, the marshall leftovers kerp making more millions.

Great post. Nothing will ever change until some sales ops people leave this company and ML completely pulls out. Until then, turnover will continue escalating and growth will slow even further. They just DONT GET IT!
 






IMHO yes recruiters would have to be misleading or at least misinformed to convenience anyone to go to work at that company. No disgruntled ex-employee here as I have never worked at Zoll but have been contacted by more than one recruiter for positions there due to my years in the CRM and int cardiology space. Each time I thanked the recruiter for thinking about them but told them I would have to be unemployed and starving before even thinking about Zoll. I have heard all the stories from the many ex Zoll folks that have filtered through the area I cover as well as from my contacts in Cardiology who have nothing good to say about the company

I do think recruiting for Zoll would be a gold mine for a recruiter as you know each person you place gives you another opportunity to find their replacement in a year or so due to the revolving door.
