The deal he orchestrated to acquire Clementia for palovarotene during his time at Ipsen was EPIC stupidity and should have disqualified him from working in the industry, let alone getting additional CEO roles. I pity the poor bastards that work at Mirati.
 








Just check your LinkedIn feed to see the losers who have joined Mirati. That is all you need to know about how much of a failure this is and will continue to be. It really is a who's who of the worst of the worst in the oncology space.
 
















I understand there are plenty of Oncopeptides, Morphosys, and Puma people who need jobs. 120k is better than zero.

I sure wouldn’t want to got to war against Amgen with this cluster of an organization.

Unfortunately for me, I know a bunch of medical people who joined Mirati. They were all the ones jettisoned by other onc biotechs, and probably were hired because they could be had very cheaply since no one else wanted them. They are some of the dregs. Ahead of your COO and CMO getting jettisoned, your company is in for a rough time.

According my to my manager Oncopeptides is sending over a "book" of resumes to Mirati for hiring. Our leadership at Oncopeptides is a joke but they think your leadership will listen to their recommendations? This is just what you need. Fill up your team with a bunch of under performing idiots from a failed company? I am sure your HR person is impressed..

Don’t doubt you for a second. Know of a specific person who went from Oncopeptides to Mirati Medical Affairs under Meeks’ desk to get her job. She’s followed the same pattern throughout her career.
