Ignorant and uneducated on the subject. Experience? All successful leaders get a start somewhere. All have been promoted at some point. She’s got a proven track record and for those that know her know this was one of the smart moves this company has made.

Why can’t people be happy for others success?

Just a word of advice, the person you referenced as the new manager is not a girl. She’s a woman. Girl intimates an adolescent.
Me thinks you need to grow up yourself.
