Not just Rheum. Its out of control, plus completely unrealistic about current access
You guys are really tight lipped for whatever reason

I’m in neuro and my base is $142,000 and bonuses put me around $190 each year.
I make 300k in rheum at AbbVie
For rheum
85-115k for new hires
Tenure can get you to around 140k base
target bonus 39.5k
Has been very difficult to hit target in rheum the past few years
If you’re looking to interview for AbbVie, in my opinion run! That company is toxic, full of micromanagers, bullies, and all you are is just a number. Too many metrics i.e. emails, eight calls a day coffees lunches and managers, who have their noses, stuck up the regional managers ass so far that you have to learn to read between the lines because there is no transparency in this company . It’s a shit hole to work for And there is no work life balance. When it comes to your pay it is below what other companies will pay you. They’ve made it incredibly difficult to win Summit and they play around with your quotas and pass them out when the quarters almost done. You’ll never make a dime in bonus. Be careful of the managers here they’re all snakes in the grass and crooked AF.
Thank you for this info. It sounds like the exact same culture where I currently work except they are losing so many people that it’s causing them to start increasing salaries.
Yes, culture is very bad here. No matter what division you are in. The way it works here at Abbvie is you get promoted or hired within the organization if you have family, sexual favors is a plus, or friends. Experience doesn’t matter.
For sales people they don’t want anyone to have a mind of their own. You need to live in a bubble agree to whatever upper management wants. If you do that you won’t have to back out of the driveway for your entire career.
