#metoo rumors?

This issue of harassment is real and is deeply embedded in the culture at Shire. Zone Directors using vulgarity, touching female subordinates inappropriately all the way up to those in HR who make policies that they do not enforce. DO not make your sales force members take the countless SABA training courses so its a mere check off on the list so we can get our bonuses. Takeda despite their own issues is about compliance. The level of sexual harassment is going on everyday here and because of the environment of don't tell or you are threatened is truly despicable and vile. The perps know who they are. Many are Zone Directors, Area Sales Managers and in some cases VPs. And yes there are external inquiries currently in place. This is all about feeling safe in your workplace. Being able to feel as an integral component to a team. Unwanted advances, speech, texts etc is a true violation of a person's constitutional rights. This entire environment here at Shire has become that of a bully. If there are others who have ever felt threaten, uncomfortable, treated disrespectfully by your colleague and or upper management its time to rise up and speak your truth. There are excellent employment attorney's out there. Keep your documentation. As much as upper management has a file on us keep a detailed file on them along with colleagues who may also be harassing you. Memorailize your conversations either through your corporate or personal email so you have the time date stamp. Protect yourself! You deserve so much more than this. We all should be able to go to work and have business appropriate relationships with our colleagues and supervisors.

Yes. Avoid all conference calls, meetings, training sessions, and discussions of any type or nature that have to do with absolutely anything. It’s the only way to stay safe. In short, avoid any and all human interaction. If you absolutely must interact with another person, write down what you want to communicate and have it vetted by HR and the corporate legal team as well as your own legal counsel. Be careful.
