This is what I believe they are saying in the C-suite to all of us
Oh yea......and don't forget to enjoy the leftovers!!
HR person, even though they say diabetes division has already gone though their reductions this year, and none "planned" for 2017...common sense and wisdom tells me it's only a matter of time. With that said, if you truly are HR, your thoughts?
TRUTH!
Also, while it was in primary care, there was the First June re-org and let-go's in '15. Yesterday marks the third time in 36 mos. And yes, more will come again after the thaw if not before.
You are 100% correct. The writing has been on the wall for a long time. The first shot across the bow was the first round that happened at the end of June. Back then they actually told us that it was the first round and there would be more blood letting. Now the blood is running in the streets. The only people that care are the ones that got shafted. AZ has basically walked away from CV. Here is another warning to you all.....if you think this is the end of it....you are sadly mistaken. There will be more to come.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.......
Where have you been? First shot in June? This has been in the works for years. Hello? Remember 2012?
Big changes coming in managed markets. They may have to send out a posse to try to locate some of these worthless old fuckers.
Not coming...came. Force cut in half. MGBD's from 9 down to 4. The experiment around IDN's is dead. If you didn't have a direct contracting acct (regional HMO for instance) then NO soup for you!
Well clean off the cobwebs and tip over their rocking chairs, finally someone had the guts to do what should have been done 10 years ago. AZ will save hundreds of thousands in wasted travel expenses, catered meetings to make them look like they were being busy. An audit done on several of them led to their dismissal showed massive fraudulent spending on personal and family travel. These were only the worst offenders.
My grandfather told me: A business and a person is always headed in a direction; never slow and steady. It is up or down. AZ is and has been headed down for a long long time. Soirot fucked up as a business leader on orders of magnitude larger than any CEO that I can recall. If you can think of a bigger fuck up than to walk away from the Pfizer bid, please post it here.
I have been gone since 2012 self identification and sorry to watch this decline! Reading the articles and they all say 120 people from HQ -LMAO!!!!!!! Who are they kidding - they must have laid off the admin staffer b/c the real useless people will never get let go. They protect each other and shuffle them around to other useless positions - managed markets, training and/or created positions so they can goof around in Wilmington and have uselss meetings, conference call etc. When is AZ going to wake up? Even with this they continue to be too big and have no good drugs so it really does seem like this will be the norm once or twice a year.

Account Directors?? Director was always a misnomer. Since it was never a leadership position and most of these people had been demoted from a real Director position because they couldn't lead a one man parade.
I hope the do an expense audit on everyone one of them and deduct the thousands of dollars stolen through fake expenses. This group has been outrageous for decades charging golf, meals in 4 star restaurants, and personal vacation expenses. While you are at it, I hope they investigate and fire the person who is approving these expense reports too. Good riddance to these entitled fakers.
I heard that they did indeed make severe cuts to the Account Director and ID roles. Well it is about fucking time. Talk about a no brainer. You could have gotten enough information by interviewing any 5 sales people, picked randomly, to get rid of virtually every single one of them. Just observing their behavior at meetings should have been telling enough.
