Disgusted what heard after holidays my referral interviewing with company unfortunately lost her pet 10+ years and had an interview with Merial. My understanding the candidate reached out to manager about passing and could not interview due to a service and the manager did not even respond? Even if manager chose to not interview the very least the manager could have done was apologize to candidate for the passing of her family pet! In this world and in this industry people SHOULD have some type of passion and understanding. This is a job for freaking ANIMAL healthcare! That manager should be fired! I am so upset hearing about this. told candidate I was so sorry for even recommending her. I left over a year ago but never in my experience did I think I would have to pick up a phone and apologize for something a manager should have done last month. Shame on you!
Sounds to me service may mean funeral service? Not sure. Presuming true, I agree with post above. If this is animal healthcare then candidate should have gotten a response at the very least and it only takes seconds to respond with iphones etc. I am disappointed how some managers act and react to the entire interviewing process. I heard last week that someone flew 2 hour flight for interview to find out person was not chosen and flew back w/o interview. SO ODD!What is meant by "due to a service"?

Thank you helping me and my slow mind. So Merial is doing so well that Sanofi is considering selling? Elanco is doing so poorly that they have increased their sales force by 50%. Sanofi, which includes Merial, has said that they will not have any sales growth until 2018. Eli Lily has had the highest growth in share price for this year compared to any other major pharmaceutical company. Sanofi's CEO has said his company will cut cost and eliminate jobs. In summation ( and this is why you know I am slow) The company that is not showing any sales growth, will be laying off employees and is exploring selling their consumer and animal health division is doing far better then the company expanding
its sales force, growing its profit margin and increasing its shareholder value??? Of course you are correct. How could anyone weigh the facts and not conclude how well Merial and Saofi are doing! Now put down your pipe and go sell marshmallow dental chews you dim witted chauvinistic moron.
Lmao. Thank you BI this should be a cluster _uck for the next year. Should be fun swooping in to steal that NexGard business... Not that we weren't already doing that now.
Wonder what the clinics will do when the help yourself to my trunk reps, I mean merial reps all get fired and BI actually sells product.
You spell very well.
BIVI tracking employees too. On IPads and Company cell phones. Big Brother at BIVI is always watching and making you document everything.
Merial should run and don't look back. The budgets suck at BI the Pay is lowest in industry and they are a clerical nightmare!! They upgraded systems only to have it be worse than it was before. They just can't seem to get anything right. You might hate trackers in the car but now it's Ipad and you have to document every second of the day and waste selling time on clerical nonsense that doesn't make you better at your job or help your sales. No one has any say in anything it's like talking to emptiness when you have an issue. No one knows anything and can't ever get anything right the first time. Let's not get started with trying to calculate your bonuses or sales numbers. Impossible to find your sales numbers or history on customer. They give you the run around and no one steps up to the plate to help with anything. But they sure will send you a report or a stupid survey to full out. Worst help desk and management team in my 28 years. They will fall apart taking on more responsibility with buying Merial. They can't handle it. But they hired companies to tell them what to do because they just don't grasp this industry and are not smart enough nor have instinct.
Good luck but the grass is not green at at BIVI. You'll have to start taking meds to deal with the mass confusion and mistakes and errors daily. Get someone to tell you the real truth about getting accurately paid. Don't expect to get paid for what you sell and they split everything up on 4 websites to confuse you so you never know your sales.
Reps will need to interview for their own jobs. Those that don't cut it, or are paid well, will be let go. BI likes reps that work and reps that are fresh out of school and willing to work for a pittance.
The global animal health division will move headquarters from Ingelheim to Lyon, but it will be lead by a German. The place will be overrun with Germans.
US headquarters will remain in St Joseph, MO. Nearly all Merial employees in Duluth, GA will be terminated as their positions are almost 100% redundant. Manufacturing facilities will remain in Athens and Gainesville, GA and BI will transfer all of their pharmaceutical production to those sites from Bayer in Shawnee.[/QUOTE
Dude you couldn't have been more wrong. You predicted everything to be the exact opposite/reverse of how things really panned out. Maybe dust off your crystal ball or just keep quiet and stop yapping away about stuff you know nothing about.
