Merck contract ending

Asmanex didn't sell with a full budget. Targets don't care about the molecule. Sure they respect mometasone but they weren't confident in the delivery system. HCPs and patients are used to a forced device like inhaler to ram it down patient throats. If they can't feel it, they must not be getting it. Really a moot point now anyway, there's just no room for Asmanex in the ICS market. Not to mention they missed their window of opportunity for launch repeating their mistakes with Dulera. A day late and a dollar short. The only thing Asmanex will do is kill your numbers. It's not a bad product, it's just non-existent. If you're job depends on the success of this drug, better start playing the lottery.

Asmanex ...(It's not a bad product, it's just non-existent. If you're job depends on the success of this drug, better start playing the lottery)....... But YET they are saying we are not doing our job and if the EPBU can't move the DOG they created we won't continue ugh! so hard Contract sales is actually harder than company sales and yet we are less respected??? We should be treated like the hired GUNS we are!!!!

Mgr. told us that we need to move Asmanex big time, basically our contract depends on it moving. We are going to be calling on more peds (check your javelin) to try to move this dog. Why do they think we can move it when the full-timers couldn't do it years ago. Contract is until 2013, but that means nothing!!!

So in other words polish up your resume. This product is next to impossible to move with little to no resources available.

My Merck contract reps all have big GUNS, and are all hot MILF'S.

Hard to argue that sandwich or even coffee money wouldn't make a difference, but calling the product a dog, or saying it's next to impossible to move, is not just the stupidest thing to write, it's the stupidest way to think. It's also wrong, because plenty of territories are doing a great job with this product, including mine. I don't think like you do. I think I was given an opportunity to move a good product with actual advantages, and I have. That's what I am paid to do. As for polishing up the resume, where could I apply to promote good products in a flex-time environment that fits perfectly with my life outside of work? I love this job and I am doing it well. You whiners (and there are very few) can wallow in your own misery knowing that the other 99 percent of us are finding ways to win. (Statistic based on number of views vs. size of field) You are loud, but you are alone. If you wanted to blow this out, you could. Do that! Happy Thanksgiving!

This contract is pretty safe it has already been renewed and we are top notch reps. keep up the good work and we will be fine Merck is committed to us, we are the new model!!!

I agree we are the new model but the dms need to remember core 24' we are not full time and should not have full time pressure. No benefits, no car. No vacation pay or sick days. Just saying.
