I heard we may have a big deal with Merck coming in 6 months. What's the deal?

Contract Ending? Soon? Later? Extended? New Contract to be placed on?! Rolled over? New Business Negotiations? ....this is the standard theme of all contracts..reps anxiously ask DM or corner the Regional to get the low down? Really nobody at these levels know anything...Company is always looking for new business (its just around the corner-we think or hope at least), the only real answer is 'hope so'

Yes. As a CSO for suvorexant, a sleep drug. Inventiv will be involved in the launch effort.

they have contacted their db of candidates, and phone screening were done where I am(west) and I am going for face to face inteview with Inventiv DM(new I guess) and perhaps Merck DM. Similiar process as the GSK tanzeum mass interviews at DallasFW airport hyatt. this one in Phoenix..

Merck will cover the Primary care etc for this 1stin class sleep med, and Inventiv reps will cover Neuros /psychs (so guessing that's what experience they looking for) , all specialties write sleep meds, yet these 2 are the big ones... so nice the contract guys get the specialists(opposite of Glaxo, where GSK took the Endo's and the contact force of 300_ + which got cut down had the PCP's)
don't know pay yet, and a few Flex time positions, not sure about benefits...

This week! Why they are having the interviews in Phoenix instead of a central US city, ie Dallas, Chicago is beyond me!

Because it's 120 degrees and airfare/hotels are cheap.
