This place has become a joke. The J&J acquisition destroyed great culture, injected big pharma mentality into a niche business, put hand-cuffs on sales and brought in new management whose primary skill set is finding their next J&J job.

Market share is plummeting, Luedtke built a marketing empire that has done NOTHING, his right-hand man...oops, woman, has finally bailed after destroying 2 groups and receiving 15ish complaints to HR.

Run away. Nobody is making any money anymore.
 






the best left after the takeover . The new reps that have transferred in fro other JnJ companies are retreads who were not wanted where they came from. There is a rep who was banned from all of her HCA hospitals and can only go to ASC or offices who joined us.

Well, the axe fell today. Luedtke is axed after his right hand person bailed a couple of months ago. And with him goes most of that prized marketing group that has done nothing but take salary with no results. Pre JnJ, Mentor was a near 60% share holder. Post JnJ, under 50% and falling fast. Niiiiiiice. At least they will have the Credo to cry on...
 












I believe about 50 outstanding reps were let go- future looks grey, time to look for a job where it is not run by idiots who THINK they know what medical device is about but after seeing the drop in shares, obviously should have stayed with selling Baby Powder.
 



Such a joke, they let go of the only group that was making headway. The facial team had no support, they were pulled into supporting the breast reps( who are failing under the mentorship or lack there of , JW and J... who only look out for their best interests)
JnJ brought in the retreads to keep them in the club , can anyone say pension?
Some of the best managers were let go also . How ironic that body and face were destroyed... is not that the future ...
I guess when your side of the fence is not showing the profits and are over budget you take the easy way, cut .. hmmm such talent at the top of JnJ and Mentor.. I can't wait to get out of this place.. Mentor is dead, welcome to big Pharma.... what a shame... Time to move on.
 






Such a bummer-they hired great reps to take them into the hospitals and the future...and then the gut the company? This is going to help sales? No, no it won't. It will hurt sales. Greatly. Shame; great products, great people and dominant...until J&J quickly destroyed them.
 



Could not agree more, they took the future of Mentor and bet it all on the breast division, how short sighted.. well look who are the directors.. need not say more.... Politics of CYA... J. J.
 



WOW! Cannot believe they cut loose the facial division... unreal, what are they thinking... Good luck going up against big A... they must be having a toga party at corporate to celebrate the short sight management at JnJ.
Saw the momentum at the Mentor booth in NYC , wow the girl was jammed and we were jealous..
Left JnJ for just this type of culture... Mentor was the company everyone wanted to get on board.. well no more a shell of what was ...

Face and body where never the future (particularly body) so was shocking when they added so many resources to support it. They never had the products to win, or even make money...recipe for a layoff. BL was so busy nation building he never thought the product really was the problem.
 



That is an interesting angle, however you would think JnJ would expand into at least facial , considering the hospital install and sales ... I hear the breast division is sucking wind and JW and J are next on the block with quite of few reps next ... ahhh great time to be on board with Allergan... RIP Mentor

From the tone of your post, your days of waiting "to get out of this place" are probably over. The only group making headway? False. Body and face are the future of Mentor? Doubtful. Giving yourself more credit than what's due: True. It IS time for you to move on since that was already decided for you, bitter former employee to be. Good luck to you.
 






Aghhh yes the good old days of Mentor are fading fast... what was once a great company is a shell of what was once .. how ironic it is being run by two shells of leaders...

Could not agree more, the lack of vision and leadership is what brought this once proud company to a shamble... The big "A" must be laughing all the way to market share..
 



We can't wait to clean up the market... Big A is leading the way... the arrogance of the Mentor crew .. done , over .. toast.. watch for the other foot to fall .....
