Medtronic sales grew on high demand for heart and vascular devices

Medtronic posted a 9.4% YoY increase in profit to $1.02 bln, or $0.74 per share, for the first quarter of 2018.
The company generated most of its sales from heart devices, spinal implants and insulin pumps, resulting in a 3.1% growth in revenue to $7.4 bln.

Yeah but they screwed up demand and delivery in insulin, and the SAP integration. As a result they got whacked twice on the stock price.

As a stockholder I demand better! I do not have confidence in the senior management of this company and think there need to be some serious changes to leadership. Start at the top, sorry Omar, but I think you have lost control and are out of touch.

Company has lost focus of their corporate priorities. They say it's about patients, people, then profits. Actions speak louder than words. Focus has been on profits, profits, and profits. Without investment in doing what's right for the patients and the people, the profits will not be realized. The company culture needs to be overhauled. Medtronic is losing the recipe that once created the best brand and reputation in the business.
