Unfortunately, the talent at Novo is awful. I have worked with MDs my whole life and the MDs at Novo are r*****s. They must be the rejects who can't get licensed. What they are good at is reporting people to compliance over a lie. There are many who had to leave because a cut throat piece of shit is threatened and then makes up a lie and the good employee goes through the wringer. I know an employee who was told to falsify an expense report from his field director. The field director lied and the ML was fired, It was a shame because the FD was a lazy piece of shit who basically played Mr. Mom and could not even read an excel spreadsheet he was so stupid and the ML was an incredible seasoned person who could work circles around him. I told the ML not to listen to his boss but he felt he had no choice, Rule #1 never let the idiots know you are better than then or they will lie to have the competition removed.

R*****s have repeated patterns of behaviors. His ignorance is that he thinks no one notices, and then graciously accepts “praise” for faithfully serving his leader at our team meetings.

I will refrain from commenting on the true competence of the VPs (including Anna) and the TAs. I will leave that to others. The single most troubling issue is their continued tenure. Over the last decade MALT has repeatedly stated they need new "outside talent" as existing Med Affairs talent is just not up to the challenge. Interesting, the talent on MALT has never been "upgraded". They have all been in their same roles (perhaps changes in therapeutic area) for 5+ or 10+ years. The real question is why? Remember the recently departed VP was Anne P's choice. Anna had to keep him around the requisite amount of time before she could get rid of him and before he embarrassed her. Anna's BFF DISK is most likely his replacement. Anna only surrounds herself with those who will really not challenge her. BTW the last 3 MALT members forced out of MALT were all MDs all of a similar demographic. The culture at NNI MA has been terrible for several years in parallel with Anna's tenure. Do not be fooled by someone's affability. Its only facade for someone who knows how to play the game better than the rest of us. In the end all that matters is their own interests. What this team needs is a wholesale change in leadership.

Eloquently accurate. So happy to see, that others can see through the BS here. Our current MALT members have built "their little kingdoms" of redundancy and stupidity, with insular protection, self-importance and relevance, bullying, and inflation of job descriptions. Most new hires and current day Medical Affairs members could not have a scientific discussion with a stakeholder if their life depended on it. It's an embarrassing joke. Let's be honest, some of sales representatives and educators are better versed in the literature. Lastly, it is really sad what has happened to the MDs here. Once an invaluable resource, now anyone can be a scientific/medical director as if this was a promotion, and not based on competency, let's give all MSLs a participation trophy and promote them to this title and level, heck it may remove some of the toxicity and stigma. Those roles were to be filled by someone with who brings in unique experiences and skills through training and patient care. By the way, the KOLs find the current medical affairs team to be a joke, much like the rest of NAO.
