The first whistleblower from LW filed a claim December 2009 and the second in May 2011. CardioNet was not involved until after so yeah, crossfire.
 






Ummmm, the DOJ asked for CN records from 2007 onwards so maybe it began with CN. And maybe because the 2 reps with integrity just happened to work for LW means the LW knows how to hire as no CN reps came forward. So you think that the first one who gets caught is the guilty one not any party telling which codes to bill?

And you have no clue what sales is telling drs as you are in the office.

It is tough to argue with stupidity. Are you saying CN is only guilty because they got caught?
Two bank robbers (CN and LW) rob a bank (CMS) and they run off with a ton of money, a witness (whistleblower) id's one of them (LW) and they get arrested. CN gets away for a few months and is then apprehended. Are you saying CN is only guilty by "crossfire"? Also, CN walked into the bank first and took more money.
 






It will be interesting to see how much CN agrees to pay in a settlement. Should be substantial and will be interesting to see relative to the LW settlement. Wonder if there will be any new announcements on earnings call this week? CN needs something to encourage shareholders.

Shame on you, your wife got to take that time, you robbed a new Mom of something she can't get back, so she walked! Shame on Joe C for not giving what was deserved. How much does Cardionet pay its sales Reps? Per activation? What are the "bonuses"? Why would someone want to join Cardionet now? Cumbersome equipment,old technology, a third of the staff gone,large hospitals dropping you, DoJ investigation for fraud, This looks bad.

It's simple CPT 93228 & 93229 are billed from the docs office,then we bill for our service. FAIR MARKET VALUE!! Antiquated equipment like the bulky Braemar unit, JEEZ one piece hanging around your neck and another in your pocket??? This is 2012 come on. A salesman is paid per activation and can make plenty of LEGAL money.Look out we are coming.
 






Clear violation of anti-markup rule. Ecardio used to claim how clean they were and helping the physicians. Look how that ended up. You are trying to take advantage of practices that are desperate to make an extra dollar with simple monitoring. Good luck, I give it 6 more months. CMS is not stupid.
