Some Regions are down to a couple of reps. Lots of KAMS are gone. I heard Kala scored about 20 Shire reps and Dompe took 3. A few went to Glaucos. Offers are going out from NovaBay. How many will jump to Eyepoint? Novartis?
 






Some managers are chosing to go after their reps. I heard that Shire unlawfully terminated a few people that gave notice of going to another company. One person I know of is getting an attorney
 






How can a manager just fire someone these days? Everything must be documented and go through HR. If you turn in a notice, they will tell you it’s your last day in the field. They shut off your company card. You will complete your expenses, close out your warehouse and return all their stuff. But you’re not fired. You get paid.
Unless, you are starting a new job prior to the end date you give or you already started a new job and give a two week notice.
