I could easily get a position with another MS company but with the shady non compete none of us can go to another MS company. That's right - you signed a non-compete. Everyone of you.

Carry me I rank in the top sweetheart. It's losers like you who accept anything this company does. You accept it because you have no talent and nobody else would hire you. How many years can you hide at Novartis your numbers suck.
 








Pathetic people. Pathetic company. The fact I left a real biotech to come here is mind-blowing to me. We all make career moves we regret. THIS move is by far the worst I've ever made. I am activley looking to get out but like others have stated it isn't so easy.

But for all of you sitting complacent your out of your minds. There is no future here and when Biogen releases bg we are finished done over!!!!!!!!

How long will this Swiss giant keep a bunch of reps around paying us what they do to lose share on a 2-3 year old product. The day bg12 is launched is the day we are through. The doctors think it's better tolerated better efficacy and better safety plus Biogen knows this market so much better than we do. Good luck to all I'm not sticking around to find out the end result

For those of you in MS who don't understand what is happening, here is the latest.


The paperwork you signed last year for the stock grants at the end of 3 years is now a non-compete. Many were told by HR and senior management that this was NOT a non-compete. It doesn't matter if the non-compete is enforcable in your state. NVS will contact the new company and inform them that you signed a non-compete. You now are without a job. So can you leave for another Neurology position? Risky.

If we were told we were signing a non-compete many would have never signed. Very dirty. It will get ugly and I am sure court battles will start soon.

As usual, everything is hush hush.
 








Non competes are at best scare tacts. It would have to state on the letter you all signed that THIS IS A NON-COMPETE document.

If it doesn't state that then it isn't worth wiping your ass with.

Legally when you sign any document it can't be construed as a blanket item. Stock options don't mean non-compete. IT HAS TO BE SPELLED OUT IN DETAIL.

Most non-competes state a geographic area, prior clients, and timeframe, for which it is enforceable. If it didn't state these then its not a legal non-complete.

I agree with everything you say. If NVS informs another company that you signed a non-compete , eventhough it is not legally a non-compete, the new company will not employ you because they will not want the hassle. The point is we were told numerous times it was NOT a non-compete. The rumor is NVS is sending letters to the new companies stating there is a non-compete. So no one can leave to go to a competitor until this is resolved in court.
