Standard practice at many pharma companies
Standard practice is of almost 100% of companies is to look like the people who made up the Insurrection in DC on Jan 6. Yet, 1 or 2 POC is too much for you people.
I completely agree with what you say. I support diversity and I'm a slice of regular wonderbread. But it is true that it's standard practice at many pharma companies. Don't lump me in the category of having a problem with it.

Wow...I am female and was hired. I also am very proud of the qualifications that brought me to the interview. I don't want them to hire me because I'm a female. I want them to hire me because I am going to move the needle for the company.
Affirmative action exists because white people were using whiteness as a qualifier for who was the best candidate. However, now we use diversity as a qualifier. If people would just make the choices correctly and stop using non skill cues to make hiring decisions, diversity would see to itself.

No more than 1 White Man should ever be allowed to make hiring decisions. This is the reason Diversity conversations happen in the 1st place. Ban that instead of giving token “conversations” and “holidays”. Black and Brown people demand Action. Fuck your feelings and being uncomfortable. Imagine how uncomfortable we feel at District meetings and POA’s when we are the only ones forced to sit with you people all day from 7 am to 9 pm dinner just faking it.
