I am a field rep my manager actually stayed after virtual lunch while I called doctors this is ridiculous. Is this happening to others?

The way the industry is going you should leave any pharma job in two years and find something else. The days of working pharma as a "career" are long gone! It is a shame, considering what the job was once upon a time. Pfizer was partly responsible for destroying it with their 8 reps calling on one doc business model.

Which is why the managers all want to be on virtual calls so they can check that box as much as possible. Box checking is celebrated here more than anything. This company's logo should be a square with a check mark in it.

What about the super green manager who came straight off of vacation to be in the field by 8 am on a Monday? So many access issues and it is not free reign in offices to walk hallways. In a post COVID world, it looks horribly insensitive to have 2 people in unless there is a specific business purpose. And having someone think they already have all of the answers. Wow. Your 3 weeks in buddy
