MANAGER SITTING IN CAR

God forbid a DM be in the field a full day during a field ride. Not just show up at lunch and leave....if that. This is when I realized the evals are a total joke. My DM asks me who I called on in the morning so that he will have names for the joke eval.

matter of time for an attorney to realize that actions taken against Reps by Forest as well as salary increases based on inaccurate and fraudulent evals would make a great class action civil suit. Maybe then DMs would have to actually be present to evaluate.

HR? Do an anonymous survey. This company is equally as inefficient, wasteful and thuggish as the US Govt. Maybe we will be sharing the POA meeting with the IRS....do some line dance team building. Although people at Forest do lose their jobs if you're not a made man.

You guys are idiots. If your manager is staying out of your way don't ruin it by trying to hang him out. Coming in for lunch only, leaving at 1:00 because they have "conference calls" at 2 and 3, or whatever the reason - I DON'T CARE! Less time in the car with me is better. If I have a question I will call him. I dot want him with me for half a day - let alone a full day or 2!

Now, if your DM is hanging you out by scoring you bad even though they don't see your calls, then you need to document that in some way. But be aware that even of you get that DM removed you now have a reputation. Be prepared for every field trip from future DM's starting at 7:30, ending after 5, and being two full days. I would rather ram a stick in my eye than deal with that!!!!

I would like some CF advice. My manager always sits in the car during ride days. He NEVER goes into an office, then I get my rating at the end of the year based on these phony ride days. Should I report him? I want to know that my rating is legitimate. So frustrating :(

Most forest managers are a joke. Relax. Let the useless POS sleep in the car. Document.

whats the problem?? as reps we don't work 90% of the time anyway. why is the OP so concerned with the manager working? He/she should be able to sit on his/her ass like I do when i'm working.

Where do FRX numbers come from anyway? can anyone answer that for Reps? After all some Docs don't report as well as some pharmacies.....seems a little shady. More like a shell game. Just keep working harder to get those "numbers". What a joke. Like a bunch of rats on a wheel.

Not to mention the places we don't have access to but are included in our numbers, i.e. some hospitals etc.

Like you say, it's a joke. just get to work pack mule.

The "problem" presents when you're suddenly the one who is getting targeted for l o concern, warnings, and un accept able evals. Every word you say and move you make is suddenly spun to make you look in competent. Don't wait until it happens to you! DOCUMENT, document, document, document.

Had a mgr do this all the time, not really a problem until I came out of office and found a crowd around the car, police pulling in and some crazy beatch with a coat hanger screaming at me. Something about 'how could I leave him in the car like that? on a hot day!'

Geez, I had the window cracked a good 2 inches!
