Managers are choosing their teams. Texas manager came from AstraZeneca and Avanir before that.
Don't bother with either of these expansion roles, LTC access is zero and neurologists won't move the needle with Ing. I like it here but it's not perfect, not even close to be honest.
Also, as long as we are in this Covid situation, access to LTC and Rehabilitation facilities is almost extinct. This could be a career killer going into this type of roll unless you love to sell virtually behind a computer screen due to the big push with tele-medicine Just ask your friends and colleagues who are in Oncology sales with other companies.
What is the base pay for these roles? Princeton One isn't giving the range which drives me nuts because they want us to tell them what we are currently making so that they hold all the cards.
California HQ, by law P1 must provide at least the low end of the pay scale if asked directly. You never have to disclose your current pay.

All the secrecy will end soon because we know how reps talk. Once those who have been here for a year or more find out about all these new reps having bases 15% - 25% higher and came as underperformers from mediocre companies, things will get interesting for the hiring managers. Oh wait, those are the new scumbag managers that are bringing their friends over here. Never mind, since that is the new nepotism code here at Neurocrine.

probably not. They are paying these guys a lot compared to us. Which is bull****! They come in after we get the ball rolling and make 40-70k more then us including higher car allowances. Neurocrine is a joke! If they want the Teva reps so bad, let them have'em. I will go somewhere else.

It's not what they are looking for. They do this so several reasons. Pay raises due to inflation. Salaries are going up fast over the last yr or two. Also, demographic breakdowns for layoffs and reorgs. Companies need a wide range of metric so layoff do not look prejudice or targeted. If they are paying someone 190k then that person is a Sr. Exec with decades of experience. Of course he will make more then an entry level. There is a lot of reasons for the higher pay...but it's not to force reps out. That is stupid and would cost the company more in the long run to keep replacing people. It costs about 350-400k to replace a rep. This does not include less sales generation while the territory is vacant
