LCA won’t acknowledge but, Liposcience is moving closer towards bankruptcy. As a result no reagents will be able to be ordered and the continuous maintenance the analyzers require will be not available. I would start converting ASAP.
 






Its really a shame that Liposcience partnered with such a shithole company like Labcorp on the NMR.

Perhaps if Liposcience went with another lab they wouldn't have to go BK.

I am with you. I am going to start converting my accounts to VAP from NMR. I am not going to wait for the shoe to drop or Quest get in there before I do.
 






This is NONSENSE!!!
A former colleague of mine is a part of the senior leadership at Liposcience. I know for a fact that they are doing better than ever. He informed me that they have achieved some major sales and revenue milestones in 2008 and are looking to potentially expand in 2009.
I am considering an opportunity with them and hope that they do expand. I would join in a minute. I have researched them extensively and have met many on their management team. This would be a great time to join the organization in my opinion.
He also told me that the relationship with Labcorp has never been stronger.

It is a shame that these websites become fodder for either their competition (that must be desperate do to the success of Liposcience) or for disgruntled ex employees.
 






The furthest thing from the truth. LipoScience going bankrupt? Please if anything NMR momentum is growing faster than everwith physicians. They just expanded in several areas in the country. This does not sound like a company in trouble, in fact just the opposite.
Swithcing from NMR to VAP would be a huge mistake.

Take a look at Lab Corp. They expanded and then downsized. You need a course in economics. Liposcience is looking for a buyer. Look at the business plan they are presenting!!!! You can expand and go bankrupt!!!! Glad I don't work for either company.

This is obviously an employee of Liposcience trying to save the inevitable. Start converting your NMR accounts to VAP immediately or pay the consequences. Doctors are getting information about the company as well and the credibility of Liposcience is being anally delivered into the proper collection device.
 






Liposcience has experienced tremendous growth over the past year. I have a friend in management and have been told they are having an awesome year. I doubt the bankruptcy rumors are true based on changes they have made and the increase in revenue.

I would bet my life that you play dirty little games with him...but who cares about that except you and your friend that is a manager. Okay friend that is a manager, you win. That does not change the fact that Liposcience will not be a company this time next year. My division has already converted accounts to VAP and will continue to do so. Go lick your manager friends taint...
 






anyone starting to get more than normal billing issues with this crap? one of my offices yesterday told me they talked to their bc/bs rep and was told that nationwide they will soon stop reimbursing for it(I don't think that this part is true being that bc doesn't work this way.....but who knows). It's becoming too much of a headache!
