Aren’t reps in a way incentivized to not report failures so that they don’t have to honor any warranties and take a commission hit?

about 8 years ago sent an ICD can back to Berlin for analysis after it failed to deliver during DFT testing (competitive batt change). The amount of time and follow up that it took to get an answer was mind blowing compared to MDT. Then continuing to listen to the same sad Bio story had me leave when a better opp was available. "We invented home monitoring" "no lead recalls" "CLS!!!"

Weak technology. Weak leadership (except Pat N.)

maybe it took so long because perhaps there is a huge backlog of devices needing testing?

Didn’t deliver DFT
Doc was so pissed he asked for another can
Had to eat the first can
Sent in the device and no answer from Bio
Followed up and kept saying working on it
It’s complete Cluster at bio
Management horrible

They hand polish each header which they in fact do but who really gives a shit?

IF a clinician actually allows 'lead check' to be disabled for an identified lead failure then they themselves are a moron.

Lead check has been red alerting on the patient for 5 years due to sudden drops in impedance and switching to unipolar pacing. Rep disabled it in the advanced password protected settings and won’t give the password to the office.

If the above is true it’s pretty simple. Call Corporate office and talk to tech services who will give you the code and walk you through changing the setting.
