The likelihood of mass layoffs is low. The reason Almirall purchased Aqua was due to their established US Commercial structure. what's more encouraging is Almirall's pipeline which looks far better than most Derm companies in the US. long-term, this is a good thing for Aqua
Nothing is going to change, and the products aren't the problem here. This company has a dysfunction infrastruction which is remaining intact. The buyout isn't beneficial for any of us, only Craig and Ted.
Good point and I don't disagree. I should have been more specific in the point I was trying to make. Mass layoffs are unlikely so if there is a benefit to be had, I guess that's it. As for culture and the dysfunctional manner in which the company is run, hopefully Almirall can fix this.
