WOW just 4 months into launch and many many letters of concern going out. This is an example of the knee jerk reaction that happens when a company has no experience in the antibiotic institutional marketplace.
you should be concerned it you had no sales after 4 months. Get rid of these slackers, as thry ain't getting it done.Same ones who complain about no access.

This company is just nuts and clueless when it comes to launching IV antibiotics. It seems like every week there is a new "opening" in institutional sales. who the hell would want to come over here? It just reinforces the car salesman mentality...sell sell sell... antibiotic resistance?? no... well just blow it out and they can deal with all that later!! meanwhile i just earned my trip to aspen...woo hoo!!!

You must be a r***** and lack any understanding of selling an IV antibiotic. Many hospitals wait 6 months before reviewing a drug and have been burned before by other antibiotics...remember Trovan with its 14 indications? Oh, you probably don't because you don't have a clue what you are talking about. There is something called antibiotic stewardship and those with half a brain understand that there can be negative effects on other bugs if you overutilize any new antimicrobial... but Forest doesn't have a clue. Just put on that sales hat and get that DOT!!!!
Management needs to understand that the IDs want to reserve new antibiotics to help prevent future resistance. New antibiotics take time to gain acceptance, years and years. Why can't management understand that asking us to hard sell Teflaro is only making our customers angry? Antibiotic stewardship is here to stay and overuse of Teflaro is only going to hurt us years down the road. Our reps are costing the company over $50 million dollars per year and at the rate we are going our division won't turn a profit for years so Forest management needs to be patient, the sales will come.

You are a complete moron if you are selling this drug to ID's that is why you suck and don't get sales. You see your customers are getting angry because you obviously can't handle an objection and you are focusing on the negative rather than the positives. Tons of resistance out there for Rocephin and vanc isn't there? How many indications do they have? How many different dosage forms? Man you suck...go back to primary care loser...

Forest is not a pharma company, that's why they don't understand. they are a marketing company

Way-to-go Azzari; I bet this will really motivate your sales force. What a brilliant management decision - I wanna be just like you when I grow up!
Bottom line is that you are doing a poor job of selling a new therapy that has twice the coverage and is half the price of the competition. Nuff' said
